“There are better hotels few miles away”

It seems like the hotel is very old, the hallways/corridors are outside (bad for winter weather), but for spend the night during a road trip is o.k. if you cannot go further (there are much better hotels in forrest city for the same price)

“Good for an overnight stay”

The hotel looked very different than pictured on website. The bathroom appeared in serious need of renovation. Very old and run down. The room was on the interstate side and very noisy. The pool was not open. We wanted 2 double beds, but that option was not given at the time we made the reservation. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was unsure how to change our reservation to that kind of room, and would not just switch us to a room with 2 beds. Luckily I was traveling with my sister and didn't mind sharing a double bed. The breakfast area was very small with only 3 tables, which were full, so we ate on the back stairwell. Overall, if you're just looking for somewhere cheap to sleep on a long drive, as we were, this hotel was fine.

motel right next to frwy very noisy, bedspread not clean. did have a frig and microwave.

“Cheap motel”

The hotel itself is not very aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were clean but quite dingy looking it was just your average cheap hotel

“Disgruntled at best”

I do not fault the operators of this facility in any way for my general dissatisfaction with a Super8, a chain that I have learned to avoid over the years owing to the low standards it has. This said, however, the carpet was not clean, the TV did not work, and the heater sounded like the imminent arrival of a freight train. I did not report these issues, as I suspected it would be futile to do so in the late evening. The coffee was good. The "continental breakfast" was neither continental nor breakfast. OJ and coffee and get the hell out. I will certainly not revisit this place, or any other Super8, unless my engine blows unexpectedly in a one-horse town somewhere.
