“a great place to stay!!!”

We really enjoyed our stay, and will go back. . The best part was the mini kitchenette: microwave, elec. fry pan, all utensils, decent size fridge, even a packet of Starbucks coffee. I cooked gourmet meals, and saved a bundle. Room was new, spotless, and contemporary, Heated tile floor in bathroom. Huge walk in shower for 2. Very comfy king bed. Brought a few DVD's to watch on their flat screen TV. No balcony, or BBQ available, only if you select the one bedroom suites. No room service, as this is a Resort. Take out your own garbage, and make own bed. Sheets are not changed, but lots of fresh towels, if you need them. Out room did not have a mountain view, but that was OK with me, as I hiked them all day! Went for a soak each night at Radium Hot Springs... Fabulous!

“Awesome, awesome”

When we got there the lady was super nice. We went to our room and it was in this dark corner, it was beautiful but was like a dungeon, no light at all. We called the front desk and asked for another room with maybe a balcony. She was so pleasant and got us a new room. When we walked in the room both our mouths dropped. It was the nicest room I have ever seen, even nicer than any hotel in Vegas. Full kitchen with marble counter-tops, fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub. The bedroom was huge with a comfy king size mattress. It was quiet and beautiful views. I would highly recommend this hotel, if you like clean and comfortable , this is the place to stay!

“High End Condo”

We had a beautiful one bedroom condo in this resort. We paid $30.00 less per night by booking through Expedia. It is on a golf course so we had views of the golf greens and the mountains. Full kitchen which was well stocked with housewares. Very nice appliances and granite counter tops. Very nice to have a washer and dryer. A nice deep whirl pool bath tub. There is an outdoor pool but the plans for the building with a fitness centre have not been fulfilled. The Welcome Centre where you check in has a wide variety of DVDs and books for everyone to borrow and enjoy. There is a not a ton to do in Radium Hot Springs if you do not golf. Lake Windermere which is a 10 minute drive is beautiful. Panorama Ski area is also close. The hot springs in Radium are great!

“Beautiful location!!”

First time for us staying here. We were in for 4 nights and it was so beautiful! We were right on the 9th hole of the Springs golf course and actually witnessed a Falcon dive bombing into the water behind us. Unreal!! Great 1 bedroom apartment, with all the bells and whistles! Even granite counter tops! We loved it and will definately go back. The only thing we didn't like was having to check out by 10AM. So much for that last sleep in!!

“Good location and comfortable accommodations”

My wife and I stayed here for the first time and found this to be a great alternative to a traditional hotel. We initially were assigned a small unit that was much like a cave, with no natural light. After going back to the Welcome Center, we got upgraded (for an additional cost) to a beautiful suite with a full kitchen and a fantastic view of the mountains and the golf course. Definitely worth the additional cost! However, the staff at the Welcome Center could have been more proactive to suggest the upgrade (without "selling" it too hard). They were also only moderately friendly. For a Welcome Center, I expected a bit more. Also, when I inquired about possible ownership opportunities, they seemed unprepared for the question and did not have any material or information and simply gave me a business card. Perhaps time to upgrade the staff? Anyway, overall it was a great experience.

“OK Resort....”

First of all, this is a very beautiful resort...However, the check-in lady was not pleasant at all....We checked in a few miutes prior to 3pm, but that was not an issue, we were told at check-in that the room had no air conditioner..No where was that ever pointed out while I was booking the room, when I tried to say I wasn't aware, she basically looked at me and said, "well I have it on my screen"...Whatever, aside from the fact that is was super hot, I just wanted to have a nice mini holiday...So I got the keys and was made aware of the rules, by this un-welcoming lady, told her to have a nice day and got out of there. Radium seems like mostly a ski town, aside from a few hiking trails in summer and a short drive to the beaches, there isn't much to do...Great resort if you are a golfer! Unfortunately we were'nt...Also, there are a lot of walking trails on the resort, but bring your bug spray, mosquitoes are horrible out there. This is a pretty resort, but there isn't daily housekeeping, although you see a lot of friendly (for a change) housekeeping staff on the grounds, so I'm sure if we needed extra towels it would not have been an issue...I enjoy a typical hotel resort rather than this place, I don't really want to do dishes and take out trash when I'm on holidays, but if that's not an issue for you than that's a good thing. Overall, it was an ok experience, would have been nice to see a little coffee shop or a mini store to grab some munchies on the resort.
