“Want a bad nights sleep, goto south lake vagabond”

heater in room was really loud. Sheets had holes and were worn out. Drunk kids came home from casino at 3:00 am and then woke us up at 8:00 am to puke on walkway outside our room. No fault of hotel but it ruined our morning. Room smelled like smoke even though it was called non smoking. Better to pay more and stay in a decent place, this one was gross.

“Not To Comfortable”

We stayed at this hotel for four days. It had good location and was in expensive. I had read the reviews from previouse pople and thought it was worth the money. We arrived to a clean room about three blocks from the gondala, which waas nice. The room was clean and check in was a breeze. The bed was a queen but a little bit hard.. The floor might have been a better decision. The next morning we wake up and go down the hall to get the coffee. Their is none. and No muffins or anything else. I talked to my friends who where also staying their. We had three rooms in total and each one was different. We had a queen with a regular room in the corner. My other friend had the same with a microwave and my last friend had a spa bath in his room. We all payed the same and ended up with diffrent things. Not Cool!! Lake tahoe was incredible and so beautiful, I cant wait to get back, but I wont be staying at the veggabond inn again. It was a combination of some small things that made it unpleasent and uncomfortable. There are other hotels closer for the same price and hopefully a better bed.

“Never again”

Terrible complimentary breakfast. The Orange juice taste like water, and we had 99Cent cinnamon pastries cut on pieces. The pool and tub were out of order. Also I dont think they changed my sheets.

“Will NOT be returning to Vagabond Inn”

In a nutshell, the room we were given was not particularly clean, the blankets on the bed were torn, the walls were dirty, and the spa was in the main room, which had not been cleaned. This is an old hotel that needs a makeover, badly. Needless to say, we were disappointed at the quality of our room, and were disappointed that the website pictures did not accurately represent what the rooms were like. I would say this is more like a ONE star hotel. I know we will not stay there again.

“Just spend the extra $$”

We were disappointed in our stay at this hotel. While it was in no way unbearable, the bathroom was incredibly tiny (no vanity or bathtub), the bed was uncomfortable, the pool was absolutely disgusting. The housekeeping was acceptable and the employees were ok. Overall, just not quite what we were expecting.

“Little run down”

Ok for the money. The carpet on the stairs and hallways was pathetically torn and a trip hazard this indicated to me I was getting what I paid for but it was adequate for the money.

“Would rather sleep in a tent”

This might be the most overpriced, under-maintained establishment in South Lake's list of B-rate hotels. This is why: staff seemed annoyed to check us in; room was dirty and smelly - no, stinky; the sink backed up immediately; the fan that came on automatically with the bathroom light was a rattling antique; there were no fitted sheets on the bed; no bedside clocks for setting an alarm; and of course, loud at night. A true dump.

“Not Impressed”

I was not satisfied with either the service or hospitality. I needed to get some work done and had taken my laptop along believing in their claim for internet access. However, it never connected for once during my two days stay there. On talking to the hotel staff, they skirted responsibility saying they could not help as they had outsourced the same to some vendor. Instead of the hotel staff calling up the vendor to fix the same, they asked me to call the vendor, which i did but without results.

“Woorst motel I've ever stayed”

Exterior was filthy, rugs raggged, needed paint. Interior, dirty, the bathtub had a HUGE ring of dirt all the way around it. I did not walk on the floor without my shoes on. Towels were rags. The pool was so dirty it was unusable. THis place should be condemned.
