“Diamond in the Rough”

If it's up to me, I never stay anywhere except The Lodge at Kingsbury Crosing when I go to South Lake Tahoe. For the price, you would expect not that great of a place, small, old, smelly. NOT here! Best people, service, and the place is amazing for the price, a steal really! Last time I went, we didn't get there until almost midnight, way past when someone at reception would be available, and we found our keys plus a map to where our room was waiting for us inside the reception area. It's added touches like this, not to mention the yummy Saturday morning breakfast that keep me, and all my friends now, coming back! The reception area feels like home, has lots of games, a pool table, two spa's, nice restrooms, plus it's so convenient to Heavenly and surrounding areas.

We enjoy the convenience of the location, the friendliness of the staff, the housekeeping efficiency, the huge free movie selection and the quiet atmosphere.

“Great Value”

Wonderful little hotel/resort. Rooms are essentially small condominiums. The resort is with-in walking distance to the casinos and restaurants if you are willing to walk a half mile. We would definitely consider staying there again.

“Perfect place to stay away from downtown crowds”

This place was perfect. 2 good sized bedrooms, kitchenette and living room/dining area. Good continental breakfast. Clean and quiet. Walking distance to Stateline casinos and Heavenly gondola. No surprises (like parking fees).

“Going back in a Month - LOVE this place!”

This is a GREAT place to stay in Tahoe - well exceeded expectations. The staff is extremely nice, the place is generous size with a kitchenette, fireplace and the layout is great. Its also close to everything! Lakeside Casino is a 5-7 miinutes walk, and walk to Heavenly is no more than 15 minutes. Amazing place with a great location, friendly staff, and a can't-beat-it price.

“Love customer service”

Customer service was great. Location is confusing to find first time. Navigator does not recognize final turn to the hotel, there is no hotel's street on the map neither street sign, and definitely missing sign pointing to the hotel from the main highway 207. We arrived late after 12am and one person on the phone helped us to find hotel, and another manager was there with our keys. It was very helpful, thanks. Our stay there was enjoyable.

Everything about this place is First Class. I highly recommend it.

“A real gem”

We really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Close to Stateline and you can walk to the Lakeside Inn for their great prime rib dinner special and cheap drinks. Red Hut for great breakfast is right at the entrance to the hotel. Don't go to the Thai restaurant on lower Kingsbury, Thai One On, TERRIBLE food. For the price, I am reluctant to recommend as our little secret place may be found out!

“Great space in a convenient location.”

The rooms at Kingsbury Crossing are a great size for a couple or small family. You can easily walk to the Lake and casinos. A short drive to the Nevada side of Heavenly. We have stayed there before and will definately go back. The price per night is fantastic!
