“Great motel”
The Tahoe City Inn was perfect for our short stay, the staff was friendly and we had a brand new remodeled room! It is a motel and on the highway so it does have traffic noise and you may hear the other guests but it is a motel!
“It worked for one night or maybe 2”
Tahoe City Inn. Very good location, Safeway close by, close to City Park, bike, walking path, beach access lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. I think the City and the community did a wonderful job on this park area and they should be commended for their foresight. The hotel was fine, old and could use some new carpet and other fixing up things; it was fine for one night.
“Lake Tahoe City Inn”
Its cheap and its good for what you pay for. Its the middle of a little town and very close to the lake. It definitely needs an upgrade, some of our lights went out and the tub, clock, and tv were old.
“Basic accommodations”
A little pricey for what you get. Toilet was broken but staff did temporary fix right away.
“Ok for what we required”
The hotel was ideal for what we required. All we needed was a bed and a shower. Apart from that the hotel didn't really have much else to offer. I was disappointed to notice that there was a very large pile of rubbish (trash) piled in the corner of the car park for days before it was removed. This really was an eyesore for the hotel. It seemed to be 2 young women who were running things and one of them was very unprofessional. She was very unorganised when we arrived and she was never dressed in a decent attire. The shower was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. I do recommend it if you are planning on doing a lot of boarding or skiing.
“Our visit to Tahoe City Inn”
Our room needed upgrades. Two examples are, movies provided were VCR, jacuzi tub was very late 70's era. Out side apearence of facility was a bit rundown.I think the location is prime and should be improved. Upgrades could atract more buisines.
“Horrible Hotel”
The location is central, but the upkeep of the facility is horrible. The carpet was stained beyond recognition. The mattresses were at least 5 years beyond useful life, the shower head dripped all night long, the front door deadbolt did not work, the stairs to the second floor seemed unsafe, etc, etc.
