“Un peu déçu par le service”

Attente très longue au restaurant de l'hôtel ; on a l'impression d'être un touriste au milieu d'une multitude attendant d'être "tondu". Mais cela semble normal dans cette partie très touristique des US...

“Nice place, friendly staff”

Our room was very comfortable, just what we were looking for. There were a few minor problems, like only 1 fork available in the kitchen, and some of the light bulbs/fixtures didn't work. We were supposed to have a continental breakfast with our stay, but someone took the key home with them, and there wasn't a spare. This is something that should be addressed. There should be a set of keys that stays at the front office at all times. All in all, we enjoyed our stay - the temperature was fine, and the bathrooms were clean.

“Great for the price”

I saw a previous reviewer recommend asking not to be put in the back building D, which I did. When we got there the guy said they had put us in that building until they saw we requested not to be. So we were put in a room in one of the front buildings and it even had a kitchen, which I didn't expect. Looks like they are doing some renovations which are very necessary. Great place other than old furniture/decor--and right on the lake!

“Great Location”

We stayed in the family suite. Very spacious suite. Unit consisted of an upstairs and downstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs with a kitchen. The hotel overlooks Lake Tahoe and has private beach access. Pool was heated and very comfortable. The hot tub was down for maintenance. Breakfast was better than we anticipated. A lot of variety for a continental breakfast. The only complaint, the hotel could do with some updating. However, every hotel that we have stayed at in that area seem to be a little run down. Although a little dated, our room was clean and the bed were comfortable.

I book this hotel due to its location. it' turn out as one of the best lodge for the price. it's close to beach and other amenities (Heavenly). It also has cover parking, which was very use full for family with small kids. Highly recommended.

“Love Royal Valhalla - needs and is getting an update”

Have stayed at Royal Valhalla many times over the years and love the location and room size. Have a kitchen and large balcony is a great feature. Two bedroom units have good privacy. Beach across the street and 5 min walk to casino's. Love the neighborhood they are in.

“Great View, Excellent Staff - Good deal”

Great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe. Great view of the lake from my balcony. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. My room was fine - great price for a two night stay. Close to everything. Easy walk to Heavenly Village, casinos, and local establishments.
