“Exelent location and exelent view. I will stay for sure again.”
The only thing the hotel must include is the internet service. Very, very important.
“Excellent place to stay”
We wish we could have spent more time there. Don't skip the complimentary breakfast, it's better than what you are used to.
“HIdden Gem in the center of town”
Conveniently located on main street of Tahoe City and right across the street from Lake Tahoe, the Pepper Tree Inn offers a beautiful view of the lake and within walking distances of shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was the right size, updated and decorated well. Their morning complementary breakfast was fresh and plenty of it.
“Nice Service goes a long ways”
Very Nice people where more than willing to help me with all of my questions We took a bus to Squaw from in front of the hotel.. This was the first time I have stayed in Tahoe City.. very nice people Thanks Please pass this on
“Quality spot”
The hotel was clean, conveniently located and had a great view. The only difficulty I had was that you cannot check out prior to 8am as there is no attendant at the office. Tough to make first tracks if you can't be on the mountain by then...
“Good price, Nice room, Great breakfast”
This hotel is in a great location - close to restaurants, shopping, boat rentals, the paddle boat cruise, and ski rentals. Our room was decorated like a mountain cabin (so cute!) and had a coffee bean grinder/brewer. It's exactly what you'd expect for the price - nothing fancy, but clean and cozy. The breakfast is fantastic! If you can, ask for a room on the top floor so that you don't hear your neighbors' feet above you (the floors creak a lot). The only downside was that our shower didn't drain quickly, so we had to wait 30 min. between showering or risk flooding the floor. I'm sure they would have moved us if we complained - the guy at the desk was as nice as could be - but it wasn't a big deal.

Tower rooms have view of lake! Will stay there again if I am lucky enough to get back there.
“recommended motel in tahoe city”
This motel was clean, comfortable, convenient to Lake Tahoe, and had a decent self-serve breakfast - what's not to like?
“Good place to stay”
Beautiful location and very close to the key ski resorts of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Recommend both Rosie's and Jake's restaurants withiin a short walk of the hotel. Hotel breakfast is acceptable for the price of the room.
“Enjoyed My Stay!”
This hotel is centrally located among many restaurants and shops, which are all within walking distance. The room, though a bit small, has everything any travelers would need-microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, free parking, and complimentary breakfast. I had a wonderful time staying at Pepper Tree Inn and will stay here again!!
