“Fantastic location”

Adjacent to the village, this hotel couldn't be better placed for the gondola, the hire shops and even the cinema. The casinos are only a short stroll away and there is an excellent supermarket just across the road. The hotel itself was just what we wanted - we stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment which was roomy and clean. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we could even buy discounted lift tickets at reception. The room had a broadband connection and DVD player ( there was a Blockbuster just across the street to hire films ). We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay. I would definitely return!

“Great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.”

The hotel is in a perfect spot. Set back from the main road so it is quite, but walking distance to everything in South Lake Tahoe. Just outside our room was a fenced in area that was great for the kids to play in the snow in. We were very happy and will definitely be going back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the casinos. The breakfast was even good. The staff were very hospitable and I would definitley reccommend this hotel.

“WE LOVED THIS HOTEL!!”

My son and I LOVED our stay at this hotel! No, it is not a five star resort, but you CANNOT beat the service or the value that you get from this hotel! The mini suite was wonderful...more of an apartment than a hotel room, large and spacious with a full-size kitchen that was perfect for making simple meals (pots, pans, utensils,etc) plus a microwave oven and toaster. Very close to everything in Tahoe!! We are already planning our trip for next year and will definitely be staying here again!!

Rooms are large, very clean and very well priced for location. Check-in was a breeze. There was a large group checking in for several days and, without asking, the manager was very helpful expediting us through the process.

“Great location, great deal”

I was a little skeptical about this place, considering that all of the other hotels I was looking at in the area looked a bit run-down and sketchy. Forest Suites exceeded my expectations though. For what you pay, you get enough room to hang out comfortably and not feel like you're in some tight hotel room that's only meant to sleep in. I did a pretty thorough check for bed bugs too and didn't find anything. Whew.

“Great Hotel, Great Skiing”

Stayed in two bedroom villa. Had two full bath and full kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Hotel is great with decent continental breakfast every morning. Its a 2 minute walk to Heavenly gondola. About 5-10 minute walk from shopping, restaurants, and casinos. Heavenly is great skiing! Great nightlife for younger crowds. Only problem was internet wifi didn't work and outdoor pool was closed.
