Great friendly staff. Close to a beach and two restaurants within walking distance. Very retro modern..The rooms were so cute and the complimentary breakfast was delicious!

Hip hotel, nice for parents and kids

Posted 26-Aug-2014
The hotel is a good value and doesn't make you cringe as other comparably priced hotels do with their cheesy decor. The vibe is friendly and it is clean and hip. The free breakfast was awesome--fast ties bagels, fresh oj, yogurt granola, etc. the hot tub and firpits a fun plus. Easy walk to beach and heavenly village with restaurants and shops. My only criticism is the lack of sound proofing for concerts at Harrah's. We have little ones and would've liked to have put kids in bed before 10. It was very loud. I will check Harrah's concert schedule next time. All in all we loved our stay.

My wife and I booked this hotel at the last minute and we're pleasantly surprised at how quirky, funky, and cool this hotel is. Great staff, a small bar, rooftop hot tub, and close to EVERYTHING! My new, go to South Lake spot.

Cons: The rooms are noisy if someone is staying above you, ask for a room on the top floor.
The hotel is cute and simple, there is a lot of noise from anyone above you walking, running, kids jumping, etc....ask for a room on the top floor.

Awesome motel, close to everything!

This motel has been remodeled and it is great. We stayed in the family room with two queen beds and two single bunks with six adults and had plenty of space. The motel was clean, the free breakfast was decent, and you could walk everywhere.

Cute place and great location to lake

Posted 27-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff, cute and cozy, bunk beds, s'mores and fire every night.
Cons: Carpets needed to be cleaned and make sure the bleach gets out all stains of sheets and towels.
Location: Lake and Heavenly Gondola are walking distance.
The hotel was super cute and the staff was amazing! Every single person was friendly and helpful in all areas. We were a family of six so the bunk beds are what we chose. The room is smaller than what we thought but we made it through with all 6. We weren't really in our room much anyway. The room seemed clean the only thing was the carpet, it really needed to be cleaned. The room does not have a/c but it ended up being ok in the room with the slider open and the fan. The room was also very quiet. We would stay here again we loved it and so did my kids especially the fire outside every night. One negative thing was my almost two year old could open the door in our room. The door didn't have one of those locks on top.

Excellent location for any time of year

We went up looking to be close to Edgewood golf course for celebrity golf tournament and this place was perfect for us, walked maybe 300yrds to entrance of course, got lots of pictures w celebrities and autographs, was with 75rds of back entrance to Harvey's casino for night time entertainment, during day they have us guest passes and coupons for lakeside beach resort which is maybe 4 blocks away, excellent time, had fun around the firepit cooking smores later at night w kids, room was perfect w 2 queens and 2 single bunk beds. Would recommend it to anyone👍

Close to everything but not your typical casino room. Cute rustic decor, friendly staff, and clean. Just wish the beds were softer and for A/C.

Pros: The value of the hotel and the staff was very friendly. The location is also walkable.
Cons: The floors are old and creaky and noise traveled between units.
Great value for the money, with some thin walls being the only drawback.
