“I would definitely stay there again”
A very nice, causy hotel situated only couple of minutes far from the city center, cathedral, university and botanocal garden. Train and bus stations are near by as well. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms clean, with nice bathroom, tv, phone. Rooms are cleaned every morning by hotel staff. Continental breakfast is goood and I can recomand it. There is internet connection in the hotel hall, sometime you have to wait a bit to use it, but it was o.k. I was very pleased with the hotel, and would recomand it.

The staff is superb and the hotel is well located One small point for us not sweedish,there is only one foreign channel on TV
“Clean and friendly - but no A/C”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast selection. Room was clean. There is no air conditioning, and the streets are a bit noisy at night.
“Upplandia Uppsala Scandic Location Location Location”
We recently spent 5 days in the Scandic Hotel in Uppsala. Very clean. Very nice people run the hotel. We were so happy we had selected this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone going to the Uppsala area. The location to the Central bus station, shopping, train station and resturants was perfect. We had a wonderful time in Uppsala and in Stockholm which is very easy to get to from Uppsala. The hotel was very clean and offered a buffet breakfast as part of the package. We ususally used this as the main meal until late that evening. Service was great. the rooms are smaller than US hotel rooms but that was okay. We did not spend a lot of time in the room except for sleeping and bathing. Our overall experience was just great. Hej Da!
“Was very nice...but not AMAZING”
The hotel was nice and clean but definitely minimalist in it's approach. There was no dresser to put clothes and not closet either. Just some hangers on a rack right at the door as you came in. Also, the shower in the bathroom concept where your whole bathroom became your shower stall was different for sure and the floor of the whole bathroom would get wet. There was no kleenex in the room and AIR CONDITIONING?? Don't count on it. The beds were truly quite comfortable though and the staff friendly if not at all times very helpful. The saving grace..an AMAZING BREAKFAST SPREAD and free internet came with the room..
“convenient location”
garage for parking the car was nearby. It was conveniently located for shopping and restaurants so we left our car parked. Selection at breakfast was great.
“When in Uppsala -”
Good central location close to train and bus lines around city and area. Excellant breakfast buffet. Very helpful recveption staff.

it's not a five star hotel, but the room was comfortable, the food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. if you're not looking for luxury, it's a terrific place with great views of the cathedral and is centrally located a few blocks from the train station and a five to ten minute walk to the cathedral, palace, gardens, etc.
