Don’t go there
The hotel was fine. The customer service was terrible. I would not stay there ever again or recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel manager was not a friendly person .

Fantastic place and even better staff. The place was gleaming at all times, the room was great and the staff made our stay, they couldn’t be more helpful. Meina is quiet village but if you’re going to chill it’s the perfect spot, it’s between two towns (Arona to the south and Stresa to the north) both accessible by car and bus (I wouldn’t walk as the pavements just stop). I would book again tomorrow.

Amazing staff . Set in an incredibly beautiful location, with a quiet pool area. The food and drinks were lovely and staff very helpful Would 100% recommend. Rooms very clean and spacious

Very relaxing
Really nice hotel with a friendly staff by the lake. Great breakfast, pretty rare in Italy I must say. They respected very well the COVID measures and were very professional. I will definitely go back!

Beautiful breakfast view
Good location, easy parking, helpful staff - recommended where we could find something to eat nearby as arrived quite late. Beautiful view over lake at breakfast, and good breakfast. Nice sized room but bed not very comfortable and aircon was not working. Also quite an unpleasant smell in the foyer entrance which really stood out.

We loved staying at this hotel which is right on the lake. Definitely worth paying a little more for a lakeside room with view of the lake. Host very welcoming and helpful. Room and facilities clean and lovely. Good area to explore the district from and safe carparking. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend getaway
Very nice hotel, direct access to lake; clean & good food; we were there with 2 small kids (3 months and 4years) ; local area has some good restaurants but it's interesting to get there as there is no sidewalk while driving 1 min for dinner makes little sense.... Arona is just 10 min away offering more Italian dining and shopping.

A place to chill out
This is a lovely hotel, right on the lake, and with a secure garage for parking. We hired a soft top sports car for this trip and it was not alone in the garage. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. They have no resteraunt for dinner, but there are very good ones in walking distance.

A nice hotel for its lake view and relaxation
Overall I liked the hotel and Meina for their relaxing location. Meina is a small village/city and is great for its weather while the hotel is nice for its beautiful view. Specially in the morning when you get up and see a very nice lake in your front.

The Hotel Bel Sit was great. We had a great room right on the lake and was nice a spacious. The best part about our 3 night stay was the Hotel Manager Marco.! He was great very friendly, very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a couple really fun things to do while we were there. The hotel it's self is a hidden gem with a little attention and some hustle that place could be a really cool spot to stay.!

Great option near Stresa!
The staff was very nice accommodating all the time. The room very nice and the terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore amazing. Good Location near Stresa, although Meina has limited dining options so you are constantly going to Stresa, which is a nice 20 minute drive. The breakfast buffet and staff great.

Our room was very hot. When we asked if the a/c was working, they said yes but that it's not that strong. We overheard other people complaining about their hot rooms, also, at breakfast. The only relief we could find was to keep the patio doors open but we didn't feel too safe with them ajar all through the nite.

A lucky discovery for us
The room was very clean with the exception of a random cherry tomato just under the bed. Our welcome to the hotel was warm and all the paperwork was ready for us to checkin, so we just signed and headed immediately to our room. You have the usual toileterries that you would expect from a decent hotel. We loved our bath room as the standard of finish was extremely high. The room was decent and also of high quality. We had a lovely litle balcony overlooking the lake. We could not really ask for much more. A previous review left by another guest was accurate that there is overgrown weed at the entrance of the lake but if you enter the water from near the end of the peer and swim just a few metres away then you don't encounter anymore. This was a very pleasant hotel, and very romantic. The breakfast was delightful and displayed differently to what we are used to. I will definitely return and strongly recommend the hotel.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Das Zimmer mit Seeblick und Balkon war zwar klein, aber trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Toller Ausblick vom Zimmer und Balkon auf den See. Das Hotel bietet direkten Seezugang und das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Leider hatte ich das Los gezogen ein Zimmer zur Straße zu bekommen. Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt. Sonst sicher ok, eine bessere Angabe welche Zimmer man bucht wäre hilfreich.

We had an excellent time at Bel Sit. The hotel is very well maintained and located right at the Lago with private access to the lake. The staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the sun downer on the terrace and the breakfast looking at the sunrise. We will be back!

Grand week-end au lac
Je recommande cet hotel avec vue imprenable sur le lac et les montagnes ! Très bien situé, il permet de se rentre rapidement vers les îles Borromées et très proche d'Arona. Personnel très à l'écoute et disponible. La propreté de l'établissement est au top.
