“A truely wonderful hotel”
Not the greatest view but wow, what a wonderful hotel. Room fantastic, quiet location, easy walk to the heart of Lucerne, great staff, easy parking. I've stayed in many 4 & 5* hotels both in Europe and USA and this is one of the best! We were so impressed we've already booked to stay in their Berlin hotel!

clean, modern and close to train station. won't give you a real "swiss" feel, but it was pleasant
“Near the train station location is a big plus.”
Enjoyed the room with a view of Lake Lucerne and the many boats. Room and bath was clean and "Swiss" contemporary orange decor. The staff was friendly and helpful at the front desk. However, the service in the restaurant was extremely slow and food only average. Breakfast was 29 euros, so we found something on the lower shopping level of the train station (less than five minutes away). Many bus tours seem to operate via this hotel. Recommend only for an overnight stay between trains. Location is within walking distance of many good restaurants and attractions.
“Great Location and Nice Hotel”
The hotel is decked out in a trendy and funky style so very modern. The bathroom has frosted glass walls which were fine since we were a couple. The best part of the hotel is the outdoor bar/resturant area and the location. Make sure you try the Chocolovers ice cream!
“Fantastic hotel....”
This hotel is modern, close to the railway station and within walking distance of all.Very friendly staff gave us all the tour info and which buses to catch.The rooms are total comfort with soft beds,heated bathroom floor,sauna etc.LOVED this hotel...
“Great choice in Lucerne”
We stayed in this brand new (July '06) hotel in Lucerne and were very pleased. The rooms are simple but chic and very comfortable. The location was great- right near the train station and waterfront (although better directions to the hotel on expedia would be helpful). Beware of the shower as it doesn't drain fast enough. We'd definitely stay there again.
“Great room, great bar, great city!”
Lucerne was at the end of our trip and we are so glad we saved the best for last! The SAS Radisson was such a relief from small, cramped hotels we found elsewhere in Switzerland. The rooms are so hip and comfortable at the same time....sometimes style compromises comfort, but not here. The bathroom was very spacious and well equipped. The service was friendly and the bar was delightful...kind of Austin Powers, but it made me feel younger! Enjoy this fine hotel for it's prime location too...next to the train station (but we never heard a train), on the lake, close to the lake and old town.
“Just perfect modern hotel!”
Comparint to other hotels in other area we have stayed in Zurich, I can say this hotel was the best. Absolutely newly renovated, clean, modern, well eqipped, comfort bed, great view... I definately will stay if I have a chance to travel in Lucern.
“Wellkept place, Modern, Comfortable Stay”
I was there with my family and spent 1 night there on our otherwsie long swiss tour. Check in was quick. We got a room facing the street, a bit of a disappointment but the room itself was great, on the stylish-modern side and perfect to rest. It was 5 min walk to the rail station so we never required a ride. and the boat station from where once can reach Mt. Titlis was even closer. Free wifi was greatly appreciated, although there was no buffet breakfast we tourists so badly like. Satisfied.
