"Great lodge on a great lake…"
I highly recommend Moraine Lake Lodge for its accommodations and proximity to the lake. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and its surroundings. Of the two lakes (Louise & Moraine), we were grateful we stayed at Moraine Lake Lodge as its lake and surrounding mountains and its hiking trails were more appealing and less touristy.

"Great place to stay!"
We stayed at Paradise versus the Faimont, where we were involved in a wedding. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were great for what we needed them for, and they were very clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms was later out to maximize the limited space. They offer complimentary granola bars in the rooms, and have everything you could need for a weekend stay; microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee mugs (not cheap paper cups), etc. We had lots of other friends stay at the Deer Lodge, just up the street closer to the Fairmont, and they had nothing but issues from the time they checked in. Overall, we have nothing but great things to say about Paradise Lodge & Bungalows.

"Convenient location"
Overpriced and very tired. Not much choice in Lake Louise. Friendly staff. The Post Hotel would have suited us better.

"Quality and welcome"
We loved the hotel at first sight. It is very nicely landscaped and is well maintained on the outside. The good appearance followed us inside with a charming log construction interior. We arrived in time for afternoon tea in the lobby. Our room was clean and nicely appointed, with good beds AND pillows. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom as well as the clean, updated bathroom. Our room also had a little balcony, on which we did spend some time. The hotel provides coffee and tea service in the hallways convenient to the rooms, which was much better tasting than the usual in-room coffee service. We had a very nice dinner in the dining room and enjoyed our waitstaff, who was full of good information.

"Hotel close to Lake Louise"
The old fashion hotel is very close to Lake Louise, only few minutes walk distance. The food in restaurant on side is tasty. The room is very small for the price, and no tv. But for traveler with no vehicle is a good choice to stay beside Lake Louise.

"Gorgeous and accommodating."
We stayed in two lovely rooms, both on upper floors of the Glacier wing. One (877) was recently renovated with air conditioning and new furnishings, the other wasn't renovated, but was a larger corner room (684) with views from 2 windows. We had excellent experiences with reception, even a special treat sent to our room for our anniversary. Except for one waiter at the Lakeview Lounge, the service was exceptional throughout our stay. The food was very good, and because the hotel is proximate to beautiful trails and canoeing, we didn't leave at all during out 3 day 2 night stay.
