“Booked the wrong hotel”

After some confusion, we actually booked the wrong hotel, we were supposed to stay at the Nautical, but oh well! The beds were super-comfortable, and the lady at the late-night check-in was super-nice! Short walk (about 2 minutes) to the dog beach, which is great considering the hotel is pet-friendly! Nice over-all stay!

“Not bad for the money”

This is only the second place i've stayed in Havasu. The hotel is on the older side but clean enough. It would be nice if the bar/restaurant was open (at least at night). No breakfast here, just coffee, so bring your own snacks or hit up the makai cafe. If you stay on the front side of the hotel you get a nice view of the lake and city. It's a close walk to the london bridge area for food/bars. They also had plenty of boat/rv parking. I was there specifically for the IJSBA jet ski finals so it was just a walk across the street to the site. I'd probably stay here again for this event.

“Great stay, nice hotel”

The hotel was very nice the only problem was that they didn't have any breakfast area up and running (although the seemed to be getting one ready) so you had to drive somewhere for breakfast. Apart from that I was very satisfied.

“Would stay again”

Location was awesome, price was cheap, has a pool and hot tub, not the most fancy hotel at all but i would stay again and recommend it to someone on a budget

“Great View”

Overall, I was quite happy with my stay at this hotel. It was lacking a restaurant, though, which creates some problems. The location was great and I enjoyed my view from the balcony. I had no noise and was not disturbed by anything. Not sure if I got the best price through Expedia since they had a lower price advertised on their sign.

“A bit stinky”

This town is interesting... Seemed to have a younger crowd that we saw, and the hotel was no exception. The restaurant in the hotel made the whole place smell like food, but the room was nice enough and they upgraded us to a balcony room for free. The lake is pretty nice too.

“Great value and location for our purpose”

I've stayed at hundreds of places around the world ranging from a motel, to a 5 star hotel in Hong Kong. I read a ton of remarks about this place ranging from a real dump, to a nice place to stay. For the price of we paid I was very pleased. We rented two rooms. The rooms (and bathrooms) were clean and serviceable. This place was probably a real "peach" back when it was new, but is still a decent place to stay in spite of age and occupancy levels it has probably seen. I can only speculate, because we were there for the Christmas Boat Parade, but it seems most of the negative remarks about cleanliness, noise, customer service, insect population, etc. etc. vary by the date of occupancy. In the summer or spring break, I would probably pick another hotel from the trend of posts...but next December, we'll return. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a balcony room. There were two beds (of average comfort), a refrigerator and microwave (both clean). The carpet and bedding were of expected wear for a 2 star stay.

“The Island Inn - A good place to stay when you need to watch your budget.”

This is a great place to stay when you really need to watch your budget. The Island Inn is diffenately not a four star resort, but it's very affordable and is centrally located to downtown Havasu, the river and boat launch ramps, including the famous Site #6 Jerry Springer reality show. The room was neat, clean and had a refridgerator which made it nice for cold storage. Improvement needed reference the in-wall air conditioner, this was a double bed room and the cold air blow right on the bed closest to wall, which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep in. But for the $$$, this hotel is well situated for families that want o visit Lake Havasu on a limited budget, it's a 2.5 to 3 star hotel quality.
