“A pleasant place to stay”

We enjoyed our two night stay at Wingate. The hotel and room were very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. We were impressed the hotel was smoke free. The breakfast selection had something for everyone and we enjoyed the option of eating in the dining room or outside near the pool.

“brief but pleasant stay”

Came in late near 11PM, was checked in quickly. Room had free internet, breakfast was free. Parking was convenient. Did not go to any local tourist sites as this was just a stopover on the way from NYC to Montreal, but seems like a pretty decent Lake George Motel. Went in early April and thus it could be quite different in the busy summer months.

“Great location and even greater staff”

The location of hotel is just outside of main downtown area so it was very quiet and not in the middle of all the traffic that can tie the downtown area. The staff was very friendly and always had a pleasant smile and hello when enetering or leaving. Rooms were great.

“Super place to stay”

Extremely nice place to stay. Clean, well-maintained, great amenities. Breakfast buffet had a large selection to choose from. We will be staying there again in the future. Beds were a bit too firm, but perfect other than that.

Great stay. Internet, pool, breakfast just as stated in the Expedia description. Hotel is away from the main L-G strip but close enough to walk in 10-15 minutes. Overall the hotel was better than we expected for the rate we paid. Hotel staff was great.... very helpful. We will definitely be back next year.

This was our first visit to a Wingate Hotel. You can be sure we'll try to stay at other Wingates while we travel.

“Very pleasant accomodations.”

Very nice area for family visits but not recommended for romantic getaways. Just simply too many kids. Other than that highly recommed for family vacations. Parking in the Village of Lake George get expensive though with all the parking meters everywhere. Glens Falls was a complete bust...don't waist your time going there. Must visit the hidden caves 25 miles north of Lake George as well as Mount Prospect!!!

“I was very impressed!!”

The employees were amazingly nice. I found a little hair on my bed in the first room, I immediately called front desk told them my issue. And instantly I got another room. The room is very spacious and very clean besides for the first room. Overall I really enjoyed the stay. I will definitely come back to this specific hotel.
