“Worth to stay”

It has a nice view to Lake George in the breakfast area. It has a cozy set up for a release stay. Nothing luxury.

“Decent but watch out”

The hotel has a great location - close to downtown but still offers great views. Good value for money. My only issue is that our rooms were not cleaned on the second day of the stay (don't know if Sunday had anything to do with that). Our dustbins were overflowing with dialers and nappies as we have a 6 month old baby. I would have been happier if the cleaning service were better. But overall, not bad...

“Rooms need updating”

My favorite part was the Belgian waffles and eating breakfast outside on the lovely wrought iron table and chairs overlooking the Lake George view. Very impressive view, indeed! The service at the breakfast buffet was terrific! I was disappointed in the old and in-need-of-renovation bathroom, the very hard mattresses, and the fact that our room card needed to be re-set 3 times during our 5 day stay. There was a terrible musty odor when the air conditioner kicked on that only I noticed, but nonetheless, it was very unpleasant. We were hoping for a heated outdoor pool, but many of us could not use it since the water was very cold. The staff in the lobby were always very nice and accommodating. We loved using the little coupon deals which saved us a few bucks here and there. If you're looking for the cheapest rates around, everything considered, this is the place to be!

“Quite adequate”

We stayed one night. The personnel was very accomodating and pleasant. The room and bathroom were older, but clean. The carpeting could have done with a good steam wash. We were disappointed as the buffet breakfast was not available, coffee, buns etc only were offered, not enough for hungry children. View was great, playground was a bonus, but it was too cold to use the outside pool. All in all, good value for a family stay overnight.

“Good for the price”

If your looking to save money, this is the place to go. The staff was great, although the hotel is further from town than we thought, maybe about a mile + from center of town. They do have trolleys that come by. For the money & the rating, it is fine.

“Ordinary”

The hotel was mediocre, but of course, I do understand that it's old. We stayed 7 days and only had the continental breakfast once. Breakfasts finish at 10:00a.m and we arrived a half hour before. We felt rushed and felt the staff were in a hurry to get us out of there so that they could clean up. In fact, there was not much food left. There were still quite a few people breakfasting. Because we were on vacation, we weren't in the mood to be rushed or feel uncomfortable so we made a decision to dine out for breakfast.

“Memorial Weekend at Lake George”

The hotel is located over the Route . Is easy to get there but took about one hour to check in. The keys never worked to open the door The sink was doing some noise at late night. The breakfast is free but is nothing to eat. I prefer to pay for it and have more.

“Great location, great service and fantastic view!”

The location of this hotel is awesome, it s on a small hill and so you can have great views while having your breakfast, or if you pay $20 extra per night, you will see this view from your bed! the staff was friendly, checking on us up couple of times on how they can help us. The room was ok, it could have been more cleaner, but overall it was good!
