“Decent hotel”

I stayed here mid September and was very sceptical at first after reading a lot of the reviews. While it's true that the hotel rooms on here for two double beds is in a separate building of the hotel, the room was decent and didn't find it smelled or was outdated. The bed was firm and comfortable. The room had a small fridge and was decorated nicely. What I found interesting though is that they charge the same amount of money for the walk in rate as booking on expedia!, which was a bit disappointing. Excellent location though and staff was fairly friendly. While there we checked out the Tahoe hotel which is owned by the same company and while it is lake view, it's not walking distance to many attractions like the Tiki is.

“Our Yearly Lake George Visit.”

The rooms are nicely redecorated. We were fairly close to everything. The only complaint is that there are people who smoke on the porch and the smell stays there.

“bartender's boss complaining”

were told by the bartender you could not bring food or drink in pool area.Despite no signs around pool indicating otherwise or signing paper on pool use would be MAJOR FACTOR in choosing this hotel again plus paying $10.00 for four coffee's at hotel restaurant

“Good location for the price”

The room was clean but the beds were soft. Unfortunately, it rained hard all day and we had no choice but to stay in the room. The TV remote did not work and the maintenance man tried without success. The indoor pool was very small and was leaking from the ceiling from the rain.

“Clean Hotel in downtown Lake George poor staff”

Poor service at the front desk. Hotel is clean and very well locate in the Lake George Village. The Hotel is next door to Holiday Inn. The sitting area by the pool has been renovated this year. Nice fire place sittings with good view of thursday night fireworks. No view on the lake. Ask for rooms without carpets. Will stay again in this hotel and will try to do a check in with a big smile on my face. Maybe this will help to make them more welcoming guests!!

“Mostly pleasurable, cute theme, minor problem...”

Positives: nicely appointed room, with very clean appliances (stove, fridge, cupboard). Bed was comfortable, and kids slept fine on the pull-out couch. The focus on a Polynesian/Hawaiian theme is "cute" - down to the Hawaiian coffee in the room, and a tasty Hawaiian beer on the drink menu. Negatives: the lack of humidity control inside the building we were in is very problematic: you can smell/feel the humidity as you enter. The musty aroma does not dissipate. I'm concerned that this would lead to mold issues - and possibly already has.

“frustrating WIFI”

The WIFi is powerful enough for a hotel of this size. You can practically get a connection from your room in the middle of the night or walk to the reception with your laptop to connect with the WIFI during day time. Frustrating.
