We loved the upgrades, the front desk staff were very helpful, professional and very pleasant. We loved sitting at the fire pit and had great drinks made by the very friendly lady bartender! Great experience over all. Will definitely return next year.

Family fall trip
Not at all good experience with kids. Things were broken already. Toilet seat, water leaking when taking shower, flush makes such a loud noise, floor not cleaned etc. Needs a lot of improvement. Will not recommend with kids. Location was good. We did not go for swimming so don't know about that.

We were gone from our room from 9 am to 3pm and in that amount of time no one came to bring fresh towels or make the bed. They finally showed up and all the did was dump the garbage. There should be consideration of putting people with out children in different areas. Running up and down the hallways at midnight was very disruptive to us

We love the Tiki Resort when staying in Lake George. We’ve only stayed in the units that have the pool view so I know those rooms are renovated and come w everything you need. Parking spots right in front of room. Short walk to the great tiki bar where the friendly bar staff serve up excellent tropical drinks! Nice patio right outside the tiki bar w a large far pit going every night. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean, include fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathrooms are small but new and great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Location is walkable into town and we love to walk over to A&W which is right next door to the Tiki. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

Tiki is past its prime
We could tell Tiki Resort used to be nice but it’s way past it’s prime. We had to use stairs to bring out luggage to our suite. We found garbage behind an end stand, alarm clock/phone/outlets & general interior of the room is dated and tarnished yellow. The fan in the bathroom is obnoxiously loud. It is in desperate need of a deep clean throughout the premises. The shower was nice. The exercise room should be updated and cleaned. We didn’t want to check out the pools due to the overall lack of cleanliness in the resort.

walking distance to the Lake and village shoppes was short. I noticed the interior of the resort was very dated and had a musty smell. The heated indoor pool wasn't very warm.

The place was clean with some nice updates, how ever the TV was horrible bad quality and no cable access just a few local channels. Other than that I would stay again.

We have stayed her several times and have always enjoyed it. Love having the cafe right on property for coffee and breakfast!! Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall is it’s a little bit of a walk into town… but not outrageous by any means.

Quick overnight stay while traveling. Rooms are clean and comfortable but definitely could use some insulation for noise. Conversations being held in rooms on either side were quite vivid and didn’t miss a word.

weekend away
We had a nice stay and the hotel was average, but ok. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown and the waterfront activities. The pool is older but the water was beautiful and refreshing! We did not eat there so no info there. All in all it was a fun weekend!

The hotel is fine. It’s a lake George hotel, nothing too fancy, you know what your getting into, but a decent fine place to stay. The kid at the front desk was very short though. Headphones in, no pleasantries. I was trying to check in early since I was going to a concert. He was just short with me and told me 3 o’clock. There was no “let me see what I can do” etc. I know these things can be out of their hands but I just felt brushed off like he didn’t want to deal with me. It was uncomfortable.

Service at front desk was terrible. Asked for an early check out on a Monday and was told, they could do 11:30 and then they hang up on me. Also, the room was filthy with dust on all surfaces and the place just has a very worn down feeling to it. Lastly, how do you have a tiki bar and close it early on Fri/Sat? Will never return.

Great stay only minor gripes
Overall was nice and clean only gripe is getting to the indoor pool was a little of a maze and the bar/food seemed to close pretty early for a weekend but all in all was a nice stay. Also the room I had the sliding doors handle to outside was only held on by one screw but still functional

We had read some of the rating’s people gave this place before we got there and my husband and I disagreed with the negative ones. We went there to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed it. The only negative thing I have to say was about one of the front desk staff member seemed as if he doesn’t know how to really greed a new customer. Also as a resort our room didn’t have dishes, pots or utensils since there was a kitchenette. Other then these minor things, we enjoyed ourselves. And how can I forget the Indonesian show, we had such a great time.

We liked the hotel overall but had some noisy neighbors connected by an interior door and thin walls... Next time I will ask for a room that doesn't connect. The grounds and pool looked great. The hotel room floors could have been a bit cleaner. Liked the overall lay out of the room with the bifold doors between the room and the changing area with bathroom. I would stay again. Beautiful views.

Great location, walking distance to the lake and shopping. Hotel was clean. Check in was a breeze. My only complaint was the refrigerator leaked and we woke up to a giant puddle in the room. Was going to let them know when I checked out but the young guy there was less than personable

The dinner and show was good. The garden cafe staff were so pleasant. Food was great. The stairways needs cleaning and our bathroom needed a better cleaning. Parking was the easiest. The location is great. Overall our stay was good.
