“Great Place”
We had a great time in Lake George and would recommend this hotel anytime. Lots of updates and very friendly. All the hotels in this area are older but this one had very comfortable beds with new carpet and bathroom fixtures. You will enjoy your stay here.
“Very Good”
I would stay there again, very close to everything.
“Lake George”
Tlhis hotel was a great location for Lake George. The hallways have a musty smell and I can't believe their are no elevators. If you have alot of luggage be prepared to carry it upstairs.
“Good location for the price”
The room was clean but the beds were soft. Unfortunately, it rained hard all day and we had no choice but to stay in the room. The TV remote did not work and the maintenance man tried without success. The indoor pool was very small and was leaking from the ceiling from the rain.
“Could use some updating.”
Great location and convenient walk to down town. Rooms are definitely outdated. Great food and atmosphere.
“Do not trust the hotel information section”
Location was good and the breakfast was great but that is it. I know the hotel was closing for the season but that is no excuse for hair and dirt in the bathroom, lounge not open and no dinners served. Do not advertise amenities you do not intend to provide. I will stay at the Hilton across the street nect time.
“Not Impressed”
If you are looking to spend the night at a hotel for the purpose of getting some sleep in the Lake George vacinity, then this place is fine. If you want to enjoy the aesthetics of your room and enjoy simple frills such as a hot tub, then this is not your place. My room had a patched door and areas that definately needed repair and one of the lights next to the bed did not work. I will say that there is this sweet bartended in the tiki bar that was a pleasure to talk to, and if you are staying anywhere near by, I suggest going there for a drink.
“pay more, get more”
Like(s): location Don't likes: old dated hotel; the communicating door between the rooms (obviously locked but my neighbour tried to open anyways) so that you can hear everything; the keys not working at first; entering the room from the parking lot; people drinking and smoking in front of their room; the all-round ceramic floors; the bathroom and so on... We only stayed there for one night and did not use the pool.
“Clean but poor service”
Stayed with my wife at the Tiki Resort over the Columbus Day weekend of 2011. Although our room was pleasantly clean, several power outlets were uncovered and the walls must've been very thin as you can clearly hear conversations in adjacent rooms. Although Tiki's website states that dinner shows continue to mid October, we were told at check-in that they ended in early October. The staff were generally friendly, but we endured 20+ minute waits at the single-employee front desk. The location of the resort isn't bad as it is about a 5-10 minute walk to the main stretch of Lake George Village.
“Not as Tiki as we thought”
I wasnt really impressed, room was clean, but reeked of fresh paint odor. The pillows were hard as a rock, the bed was also hard and bumpy, glad we only stayed one night, bathroom sink plug was stuck down could not get it to release to drain water. only enough shampoo for one person. Location was ok, but there were alot nicer hotels-motels within walking distance.
