“Sure to go back soon!”
The location was excellent. Easy walk to center of village. The view of Lake george was good since we were right on the lake.
“A Room with a view”
This was a fabulous find! We ended up getting a courtside room on the upstairs level with a view of the lake - a great perch for watching the moon rise over the mountains. It was only a short walk into town - parking can be a hassle and this was a definite plus. A fun friendly family-oriented atmosphere with live music in the afternoons at the outside bar. We can't wait to go back!
“great spot off-season too”
Have been to Lake Geroge many times through the years, always either mid-summer or mid-winter but never off-season like now. The Georgian was one of the only facilities to remain open, lakeside, with their fantastic Italian restaurant available on the premises. The food on two consecutive evenings was EXEMPLARY--each selection was finely prepared and excellently presented. Our servers were gracious and accommodating. The overall experience, from the hotel to the restaurant, was great. The city of Lake George is pleasantly quiet in November, with just enough stores and outlets and attractions still open to provide diversion, while leaving a peaceful solitude to enjoy the scenery in a way that one cannot enjoy in mid-season.

“Nice and Convenient Place to Stay”
The Georgian is not really a "luxury resort" as is contained in its name, but it is a clean, and comfortable place to stay. The pool is well kept and pleasant, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is convenient to the town and shops. The only disappointing feature was the beach. Some of the lounge chairs are in need of repair and the swimming area is really too shallow to swim in. Also, there is no lifeguard on duty so people swim outside of the roped-in area, which, in this reviewer's opinion, can be dangerous.
“A Perfect Veiw”
This hotel was built on the best spot in Lake George! The veiw was so perfect it was hard to leave the room to do other activities. The plush carpet and marble vanity just added to my comfort... The only thing a new traveler may not like, is the looks of this place on the outside. It does look a little worn, but when you open your door- you will fall in love, really!!
“Basic but very comfortable, very big.”
This hotel, essentially a motel, but with nicer rooms, provides an excellent price in an excellent location. The rooms are dated and lightly furnished, but there is everything that one needs, in good condition and very reasonable comfort. Especially during the season when hotels in the area can run $300 and up, this is extremely reasonable.

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and very sweet. The restaurant was exceptional as well.

The check-in was quick, our room was clean, and the staff was very pleasant. We will stay at the Georgian again.
