“Affordable and clean”

Country Hearth Inn Lake George is a good choice if you are traveling on a budget. This hotel is just off the highway with rooms that far from fancy but are spacious, clean, and have all the basic necessities. Free breakfast is very basic (cereal, coffee, juice and bagels).

“Ok for a night or two!”

This hotel is ok for a night or two but it is off the main drag. For the price I would have thought it would be closer to lake george. The room was clean and the hotel staff was nice. The wall paper was coming off and the bed was hard. Woke up with a back ache. Bring your own pillows. The pillows in our room were the worst I have ever tried to sleep on. Would stay again if nothing else available.

“just normal”

just stayed there for one night. It is better than expected. I like the big window face to the sun. It is recommended to stay for the price.

“Good room for the price”

I was a little nervous waiting to check in as the guest in front of me was checking out because her room was bad and it was near the laundry. But our room was clean wasn't and the staff were fine. The breakfast was all carbs, but we probably saved about $25 a day by not going out. I'd come back again.

“Cheap hotel that is ok in a pinch”

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway. We didn't want to pay the full peak rates at other places nearby. The hotel was well kept and one could tell that it had recently been redone. The check-in went 100% smoothly. Expedia made that pain free! The room was somewhat clean. The only issues we found was the bathtub had a major soap scum problem and the floor could have been better vacuumed. The beds on the other hand were terrible! It felt like we were sleeping on plywood. The room had a small refrigerator which was great and the cable tv service was expansive. Overall, with the exception of the bed, it was an ok place to spend the night. It was conveniently located right off I-87 and close enough to Lake George village.

“too expensive”

we paid too much for the quality of the hotel. it was not very clean, there was potato chips on the floor, and the bath was stained. The continental breakfast was bare minimal, it consisted of fruitloops and captain crunch cereals, mini bagels and english muffins.
