“Great Stay at Lake George!”
The hotel was great. Better than some of the other hotels that I've been to in Lake George/Glens Falls. The price was right and the hotel was even better. The room was clean and the comfortable. I brought my 3 year old and 8 month and the junior suite (rm 355) was perfect. The view from the lobby to the lake was beautiful. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our family will definitely go back to this hotel if the price is within our budget again. Thank you for a great stay Fort William Henry!
“can't wait to go back next year”
we stayed in what seemed to be an older room, it was a little run down but it was expected as we booked late for a long weekend but the view made up for it! the hotel was beautiful and we will definitly be retur.ning, hopefully next time we will get a nicer room!
“Perfect Americade Location”
This hotel was perfectly located to Americade activities (downtown, Tour Expo, and cruise). The view of the lake from our room was great. Parking was easy. The facilities were very nice and relaxing. THe room was huge.

Very clean, wonderful view from our room, walk to beach and town. Centrally located.
“A basic hotel”
The front desk staff seemed a bit disorganized and not quite sure of what they were doing. The rooms were clean. Disapointed that there were two double beds and not a king bed.
“Perfect location for Americade!!”
The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was unsure after reading reviews about the quality of the rooms in the "wings" of the hotel but they were perfectly fine. We stayed on the backside and had a beautiful view of Lake George and were able to park our motorcycles right outside our door. The best part was at night we could leave our bikes and walk down the paved path from the hotel to the main road - perfect location!!! Would definitely stay here again.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
After reading all the negative reviews, I was fully prepared for the worst but we were pleasantly surprised and very happy with our stay. We paid a very discounted rate on Expedia and stayed only one night (when you book directly through the hotel a 2 night stay is required) so I assumed we would be in the older section but we were placed in the main hotel which is beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lobby and common areas are elegant and clean. Check in is at 4pm so that had the potential to cause some logistical issues since we were traveling with 2 small children but our room was ready earlier so we were able to check in at around 2pm.
“Ideal location, incredible view”
This was our second stay at this property, which is ideally located at the southern tip of Lake George. We opted for a slightly higher priced room in the main building and were given a comfortable space equipped with a fridge, microwave, desk, loveseat, etc. Best of all, our room had a truly spectacular view of the lake.
“Very convenient”
This hotel was very conveient to the area i was hoping to b close to, very nice, the only complain i have is that they didnt offer a later check out which would have been more accomodating for me. otherwise no negative comments.
