“Be ready for noisy kids”

Because the hotel was directly adjacent to a SixFlags amusement park, the hotel was filled with families with children. Most of these children were very young which made for a noisier than usual situation. The thin floors made for loud footsteps as the kids ran and jumped and were, basically, KIDS! The breakfast was definitely missable (thankfully, there is a Panera restaurant just down the road), with mediocre bakery, egg and coffee offerings.

“Great hotel with paper thin walls”

I stayed there in September. The hotel itself is great, nice and clean, employees are polite and helpful. The only issue - it has no sound-proofing at all. There is usually very many bikers in Lake George area and I promise you will hear all of them since the hotel stays right on RT-9. Also if some of your neighbors shuts the door it produces a little earthquake. If you are not sensitive to these things and want to be as close as possible to the Queensbury amusement park you should definitely consider it.

“Comfortable and easy”

We stayed here due to the proximity to the inddoor water park. We found the room to be quite nice, the pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast topped it off! Kids really enjoyed it - would definitely stay here again...

“Good hotel, great location”

If you`re going to the Great Escape, this is a great choice for a hotel. It`s clean, good outdoor and indoor pools, free parking and walking distance to the Great Escape. The breakfast is good but there could have been more fruit. We just got back from a 2 night stay and we`ll definately return.

Hotel is well maintained and in great condition. Located right beside The Great Escape and close to everything. Great attention to customer service by management and front desk staff (Chris, Maegan).

Very pleasantly surprised. And that is with quite a few families in the hotel with young children due to a gymnastics tournament in the area. Kids occasionally running in the halls, a heavy footed person in the room above us and the pool and jacuzzi busy until closing didn't ruin it for us. This is a comfortable, clean friendly staffed hotel that we would not hesitate to book again. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the tv channel choices were terrific.

“August Vacation”

It's a very nice hotel with a wonderful hot free breakfast, but the rooms don't have a fridg and microwave. With three kids that is a very important feature. But overall the staff is very nice and helpful and the hotel is very clean. I would stay there again.

“clean but shabby”

It was clean but the hotel needs to do some maintenance. Cracked sinks, worn wallpaper, it looked shabby.
