“Wonderful!”

This is an excellent hotel in all respects. All who work there are friendly and helpful and our room was large, tastefully furnished and we had a change of linen every day! The breakfast was great and evening meals were good value and very well presented. At the snack bar, we asked for cake to accompany our morning coffee - this wasn't on the menu but the chef did a special one for us and we were not charged for it - they really did try to make you feel welcome. We would recommend the rooms with 'garden or pool' view rather than the more expensive 'lake view' which are sited over the main road.

“Villa Rosa”

A well run clean and modern hotel. Although on the main road we didn't hear much noise. Arguably my only complaint would be the price of drinks and food at lunchtime.

Well located for visits to other places on lake. Rooms excellent although I would have liked specific shampoo and conditioner in the toiletry pack. More seats around pool would be helpful and some guests were booking sunbeds for the day and then going off on trips leaving other guests with no where to sit at the pool until late afternoon. Accommodation was of a high standard in every area. Breakfast both content and location on the terraces was very enjoyable as was evening drinks on the front terrace. Bar staff and reception staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly use the hotel again when we return to Lake Garda for another holiday.

“Beautiful hotel-wonderful location”

This was a wonderful hotel in a very convenient location with a breathtaking view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was recently refurnished in a contemporary style. Rooms were very comfortable and immaculate. breakfast was fabulous. Will definitely stay there again.

The rooms were large and immaculately clean. We had a view of the lake from the balcony and the staff were very friendly.

“Top choice in Lesenzano del Garda!”

Superb service in an beatiful restored palazzo. Our standard rate bought us a large room with balcony overlooking the lake. Full buffet breakfast included, served indoors or in the garden (also with lake view). The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Has a very good restaurant and lovely veranda over the lake, open late for drinks. The hotel is quiet, but only a few blocks from the active area of town. Minor issues: pool is relatively small, crowded at peak hours.

“Amazing location and Hotel”

The Hotel was lovely you couldn't fault it. The location was beautiful, hotel was situated right on the lake. We had an amazing time and would love to go back. I strongly recommend staying at this hotel.

“Lovely hotel, ideal location”

Lovely modern hotel, good decor, excellent room size and very clean. Staff were helpful. Location is perfect for the main centre and about 15-20 min walk to the train station. Boat to Sirmione etc is less than 10 min walk away. Would thoroughly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

I stayed here in early May 08 with 2 girl friends. We chose the hotel for both its handy lakeside location and because the reviews were so positive.We found these to be very accurate.Every member of staff went out of their way to very helpful and friendly -early check in -complimentary drink on arrival and cocktail created specially for us on departure.Nice strolling distance to ferries and old town but lovely little pizzeria restaurant immediately opposite hotel.Desenzano is a less touristy town than others on the lake.Nice to come back after taking train to Verona (25 mins) and have afternoon tea/sunbathe/swim around the pool in the hotel gardens. A little gem of a hotel!

“Ideal base for visiting Lake Garda towns”

We were very happy with the Villa Rosa. The location is lovely, right on the lake, rooms and service excellent. Town centre and plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance, and we were able to visit several other lakeside towns by boat as well as Verona by train. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
