“Good suburban retreat”
Local people in adjoining restaurant told me the services are reliable and that they have been enjoying weekly lunches here for many years. Some rooms are on perimeter of indoor pool, which can be quite noisy. Not all rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Overall, a comfortable executive stay.
“Better Than Most”
Overall, my wife and I were impressed with the Wildwood Hotel. The desk service was efficient and the hotel was extremely clean. We liked the quality and look of the decor (both of the lobby and the room.) The bathroom was beyond roomy and the personal products for use were exemplary! As a suggestion, it would be helpful for the hotel to give their guests information, either verbally or visually, about the complimentary breakfast. As we read about the breakfast in a review prior to our booking, we were surprised that we could not find any information about it, anywhere in the hotel. As we arrived in the lobby, shortly after 9:15 a.m. on the morning of our departure to inquire about the breakfast, we were disappointed to find it was already being taken away. Fortunately, we were able to get a banana, a breakfast bar, and a coffee to go. Other than that, we didn't see other breakfast food choices, though there may have been. The only concern we did have about our night's stay was a "loud-banging” noise we heard early in the morning that continued sporadically for several hours. We hope this was a rarity for the hotel, as it was all in all, it was a great place to stay.
“clean, friendly, NICE”
Nice place to stay. staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean, well kept, smelled nice
“Better than hotels that are twice the price”
We enjoyed the large bedroom and bathroom (which had great Aveda products). The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We rarely heard any noise from the hall. The decor was fine and overall, we thought, for the price, it was much nicer than some hotels we've stayed in where we paid a lot more.
“Birthday Celebration”
Celebrated son's 11th birthday. Went to play in pool. Nice big pool, not much in way of recreation in pool area, but nice environment. Nice hot whirlpool to sit in. Room was gorgeous and huge. Had two queens size beds, could've fit three in there. Staff was wonderful.
“comfortable suburban location”
nice, clean and comfortable in an excellent location- many shopping, dining choices nearby. on-site restaurant, the machine shed, has delicious food and excllent service (our waiter Mike was first rate)
“Nice, clean and comfortable”
We were really happy with our room (125) just off the lobby. We heard no noise from other rooms and I'm certain the hotel was nearly full. We had access to the pool through patio doors in our room, which was convenient. There was some noise from the pool area, but the staff made sure the pool closed and children out at the stated closing time. Both the pool area and fitness room were very clean. Continental breakfast was weak. The mattress could have been more comfortable--I think I felt springs.
“Wlidwood Lodge Lake Elmo Spring 2011”
Over all the hotel was fine, complimentary continental breakfast was mostly diminished very early on they ran out of most everything. The bar /lounge closed early Friday evening, but yet was fully open (empty) 9AM Sunday???

better at lodge like this than a averege hotel like confort in or ouality in..!
“What a wonderful place to relax !”
This hotel is really quiet and nice. The customer service is also terrific. I think Ana ( the housekeeper) did a wonderful job in the room. The only thing to work on is to let all the guests know that the breakfast in now at the front desk. Overall, all was fantastic. I would be glad to return to your place once more before Jesus comes back !!! Also thanks to the staff for signing my wife's birthday card. Kudo to everyone
