There was a group partying until midnight the music was so loud you couldn’t sleep. There were several men on the balcony and in the yard below yelling and laughing. The sheets on our bed was dirty we asked for another one and changed it ourself. I would never stay at this property again.

Roaches in the room! Absolutely disgusting. First room the TV did not work and the door did not securely lock. Door was cracked open about a quarter inch and felt unsafe. Got a new room, Second room had no remote control for the TV and many roaches. Don’t think I will be staying here again, this was my second time only.

The front desk person was incredibly polite and helpful to the extent that she was able to be. I'll say that, as it was probably the only positive thing about the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not up to standards, even for a budget hotel. My first room, the lights didn't work (at all). This was maybe a blessing in disguise, as it was surrounded by a noisy group of revelers in the parking lot upon my arrival. I was moved to the other side of the hotel to a room that had a strange odor, reminiscent of disinfectant but somehow different. The bed was lopsided. The water pressure on the shower was barely a trickle (the tub and sink both had adequate pressure, though). No coffee maker, no cups. Regardless, I attempted to find some sort of solace. At 4am, I was woken up by a Ford Econoline warming itself up right outside my door. At 6am, another vehicle decided to warm up (for 20 minutes) while blasting music. All in all, if I ever have to stay in Somerset again, I'll take my chances at another hotel.

Let me try and find some positive things to say about my stay that lasted from Friday until the following Wednesday. It had comfortable beds, and the heat/air worked well, I also found it convenient to have a microwave and mini fridge (albeit one that kept my food and drinks lukewarm but I guess that's better than warm). Now sadly I have quite a few negative things to say about my stay. A major negative was the numerous roaches found crawling in the bathroom and right next to the bed and one night my granddaughter had one try to be her bedmate, if that's not bad enough how about the fact that I myself had to spray the room for them. Aren't they employing folks that are qualified to do this. Secondly I had a problem with my toilet stopping up and not flushing. I spoke with the woman at the front desk but by the next evening nothing was done about it until my son-in-law went and borrowed a plunger from the front office once again notifying them of the problem yet he was still the one who had to plunge the toilet not once but 2 separate occasions on 2 different days. 3rd In order to get any clean towels I had to chase someone down to get them, I ran out of toilet paper and had to bring in my own. Then as one of the boasted amenities the WiFi wouldn't connect and work for more than a minute or two at a time so was useless to non-existent. Lately when I checked out I was refused my deposit and the reason was that because it was paid for online there wasn't a deposit. Really?

Upon entering our room , my husband and i noticed there was dirt on all the floors and then we checked the bathroom and there was a ROACH on the ceiling. Then throughout the night we found two more roaches . I am reporting this to our booking agent. Good.money was paid for our room. A refund is in order. Nasty place!!!

Generally just dirty, stairwells disgusting, stairs have rubber overlays falling off, dangerous. Overall needs cleaning, repairs and paint. Stayed 3 nights, never saw any one to clean rooms. Had to ask for towels, coffee. Hair dryer not in the room, telephone unplugged in a drawer. The room was clean. Only used the room to sleep so it was ok. Bed comfortable and it was quiet.

Do not recommend!
The room was sub-par. There was stains on the sheets you slept with on, holes in the comforter as well as stains. TV remote was dirty with god knows what was on it. I cleaned it myself. The floor in the bedroom area was redone which was the only nice thing. Bathroom toilet was lop sided and leaned. Stains on the bowl and seat where it was not cleaned. No hairdryer in the room for after shower use. Shower stall needed to be replaced as there were stains on the non slip strips and they were tearing up. The pool was for kids at best very small. A/C unit was not functioning properly and grates were broke. This hotel needs to be redone expeditiously.

I usually dont do bad reviews because everyone's opinion of "bad" is different. I had 2 choices for a 1 night stay. Red roof or holiday inn express. The Holiday Inn only had suites and for 1 night seemed a bit excessive. I will start with, when I quickly noticed an issue I immediately addressed the issues with the front desk and they were very quick and help to find an adjustment. The inital room we were given was very unclean. Stains on the sheet, lots of dog hair on the sheets, dirty dog scratches on the door. I called the front, asking for new bedding but thankfully they reccomended changing to an entire new room. As we waited for the attended to come to us, we noticed blood on the door as well, looked like finger prints. (I didnt address that with the attendent) I suggested "that room needs to be cleaned completely, a complete overhaul. Once in our new room, I was a little more comfortable, it was at least cleaner. Not perfect but we managed for 1 night. Definitely wouldnt stay again. And if I had seen it in the daylight first, I wouldnt have stayed at all.
