“Grand Hotel Villa Sebelloni”
Great location, first rate facilities and staff, free parking. You can walk to just about any part of Bellagio proper in 10 minutes, Hotel is a classic and one of the few real five star experiences. Was recommended by two of our friends prior to our booking.
“magique! lieu unique, chambres magnifiques, table excellente, accueil parfait”
“BEST HOTEL IN ALL OF THE LAKE COMO REGION!!”
This was my husband and my first trip to Italy, we started our travels in Bellagio on Lake Como. We stayed at The Grand Hotel Villa Serbolloni. I can not say enough good things about this hotel and the staff that works there. Everyone was so friendly and they concierge was amazing! They were the nicest and friendlest hotel staff we encountered throughout our entire trip through Italy. The concierge was totally at our disposal and recommended the best things to do and the greatest places to eat, I will never forget how kind they were, I will definitly go back to Bellagio one day and you better believe I plan on staying at The Serbolloni.
“Heaven on Earth!!!”
Everything aligned to make or stay in Bellagio a ream! The hotel - its physical location overlooking the lake, with the Alps as a backdrop, yet removed from the main town area; the hotel staff was everything you would expect from a luxury accomodation but NONE of the aloofness - it was grandly elegant but friendly and welcoming...we are probably going back next year!
“The most beautiful place on earth!!”
Our entire experience at this hotel was quite perfect. The location in Bellagio is ideal, and there were restaurants and shopping right outside the door. It is hard to put into words the natural beauty of Bellagio. The Hotel is directly on the lake so were were able to swim in the lake as well as the pool. All the employees were very helpful and many spoke English very well. I hope a second visit to this hotel is in my future!!
“Excellent Hotel”
A lovely hotel in an excellent location.
“It could be perfect.”
The Hotel has the opportunity to be perfect, but it misses. The Front desk needs some classes in customer service, they didn't make things easy. The Concierge is inconsistent, going from perfect to lame depending on who is at the desk. The room was beautiful, but had a wooden chock to keep the door between the sitting room and the bedroom open as the door was mis-hung. The windows had the same issues, having clips, but no where to secure them. The Bathroom had evidence of poorly done work (an exposed plastic anchor). Stange showers, but that is European in general. Dinner at Mistral was an event, but marred by the Captain who would not give us the "better" table as it was already set. DId I really have to tell the Concierge I wanted one of the better tables when I had him make the (well in advance) reservation? Still, its a great property, it just didn't live up to what one expects of a "four star" establishment in all areas.
“Disappointed”
I had seen the hotel on a previous visit to Bellagion and was really looking forward to staying here. Nothing terrible, just not up to the price. Decor was tired and clientele seemed to be mostly an over 70 crowd. The bedside lights in the room were nowhere near sufficient for reading. Had a few shirts and underwear laundered with the hotel and price was exorbitant. Location is perfect and some of the common areas, like the breakfast room, are lovely. Just not as good as it should be.
