“Beautiful view and central location.”

The hotel was upscale and have a beautiful view of the lake. it is within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, shopping and more. The boats are just across the street as well as the lift to the top of the hill for a beautiful view of Lake Como.

“LOVED the Barchetta!!”

We stayed in Como last week at the Barchetta Excelsior and couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect, the staff members were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I am surprised the "star rating" isn't higher for this hotel - I believe it should be!

“Excellent location and service.”

The hotel is ideally located for visiting Como by foot or embarking on a cruise up the lake. The hotel is affiliated with Villa D'Este and can assist with reservations for lunch or dinner there. Upper floor rooms with balconies have lovely views of the lake. Staff is very professional and helpful. This is a modern style building. Consider other options if you want more traditional stle architecture.

“Great place”

We had an excellent stay at the Barchetta Excelsior. The location is perfect with lovely views over the lake and very handy for all forms of transports. The room was clean and comfortable, and very spacious. The staff were friendly and the reception staff were always very helpful. We would stay here again if we go back to Como.
