“Enjoyed the "Happy Hour" free drinks immensely!”
Decent hotel, lovely area of Lake Charles, decent breakfast and a nice bonus surprise of free drinks for 2 hours in the late afternoon! Great way to start the evening!
“Locked Out”
After hitting the Lake Charles casino, we returned to the hotel after midnight. The lobby door was locked and we had to knock for a few moments to get the attention of the night clerk. Other than that the hotel was fine.

Very comfortable and meet our needs. On a business trip and the location was just across the street from our meetings. Returning in 3 days and have booked this hotel for my stay. Breakfast bar could be a little better.

“Living Up to Their Name!”
Clean, quiet, well-kept, and was very affordable. The complimentary hot continental breakfast was a real winner. Most places no longer offer the hot items but this hotel does. No problems with the stay whatsoever!
“Clean, Comfortable, Courteous”
We stayed over the weekend to attend a car show. Hotel staff was friendy and courteous toward their customers. This hotel however does not have a shuttle to the casinos. Great breakfast and social in the evening. Will consider staying there next year for the show.
“Breath of Fresh Air”
This was a very pleasant experince for me and my family. The room was in great condition, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and customer oriented. It was a brath of fresh air compared to my last stay at a hotel I will not mention last time I was in Lake Charles. This will definitely be the place i will stay everytime I am in Lake Charles.

fabulous breakfast, cocktail hour and munchies from 5 - 7. Surrounding area was beautiful. Great room for the $$$$. An overall wonderful experience.
“Likely the best place to stay in the neighborhood.”
The first room we were given absolutely reeked of smoke, but the staff did put us in another room that was fine after we complained about it (something we don't usually do). So, overall, I would assume that it was an unfortunate coincidence, and more than likely most of the rooms at this hotel are probably just fine. Breakfast was good, and so was the location. I would stay there again if I needed to go back to Lake Charles.
“Hotel by the lake”
considering all the choices for places to stay i was pleasantly surprised by the Americas Suites. The size of the room was bigger than I expected. The suite had a a small kitchen area a sink, microwave and fridge along with a table with 2 chairs along with a coach and lounge chair and table. The bed was very comfortable. Also the hotel is on the lake drive with a very nice view of the lake and bridge. A good complementary breakfast we got there at 8:30 and missed out on the biscuits but other wise O.k.
