“Great stay”

We had a great time in Marburg at this hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The walk to the town centre is lovely and includes the pretty elizabethskirche. The hotel is very nicely furnished and the staff were very helpful, they even spoke great english! The room was clean and tidy and contained everything you could need. The breakfast in the morning was spectacular. A good mix of food you would normally find at a continental buffet, and then some! Overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Marburg.

“A Nice Hotel”

Hotel is well maintained. Great breakfast in a nice large diningroom. Polite, informative staff. Ideal location. Easy walking distance from the train station. Comfortable rooms. We would definitely return to Marburger Hof.

“Classic old hotel”

The hotel is a block away from Elizabethkirche. A historic hotel that is updated. The room was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was large enough. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Overall a good choice if you are staying in Marburg.

“Very comfortable hotel”

The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was very comfortable although the beds were a bit on the frim to hard side, the breakfast selection was excellent, the location in relation to the railway was easy walking distance and access to the old township was again easy walking distance. Would be happy to stay there again.

“Marburger Hof!”

An absolutely amazing breakfast. My husband cannot eat gluten and gluten free rolls and all types of milk (Lactose free and soya) available. Huge quantities. Local produce. Can't speak highly enough.Free computer in lobby. High standard and pleasant staff. Really central location and we had no trouble finding space in the hotel car park, However bed was really hard and pillows not comfortable.

“A Mixed Bag”

This hotel has 2 parts. We were given a room which was very difficult to access. It involved taking 2 different elevators which was a pain in the neck. We then asked to be transferred to a room in the easy accessible part of the hotel which only involved taking one elevator. The hotel was extremely helpful in our desire to be in the good part of the hotel, in fac,t, they gave us a free upgrade. I also liked the fact that we could have tea in the lobby 24 hours a day for free.
