Second visit.excellent hotel, superb facilities. Cleaning regime very good. far better than last year.
Restaurant disappointing, food average and somewhat bland.
apartment was again very good and well equipped, modern, comfortable furnishings, spacious well designed.
we will definitely be returning again next year.
A well appointed apartment with all the necessary equipment and more, lovely balcony with a brilliant view of the sea. Hotel quiet at this time of year but staff still very helpful and pleasant, would happily return as it is a good base for visiting the surrounding area and playing golf.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience in the Algarve. The staff is helpful and attentive; the pool (two of them!) is terrific. It's a short walk (about ten minutes) to the beautiful Luz beach area, with easy access to all of the Agarve area. The furniture is a tiny bit shopworn but who's in the room? We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. Also, this is in Luz, not Largos, which is a beautiful town. Largos is too big and bustling for us!
A full breakfast was included with hot and cold foods and fresh fruit-delightful.

The Carvi Beach Hotel is a great hotel, literally 2 minutes walking distance to one of the best beaches in Europe, Praia Dona Ana. The staff is professional and very helpful, the hotel and the rooms very clean (the room gets cleaned daily). Good breakfast selection and an amazing roof top pool. It is a 15 minute walk to the Historical Centre where you can find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as the Marina.
I would recommend this hotel for couples and families too!
The region’s top resort, Lagos packs in history, character and wonderful beaches. The old centre, partly walled, features local shops next to fashionable restaurants and nightspots, favoured by independent travellers as well as package holidaymakers. The Algarve’s best museum, a gilded chapel, a sea fort and various monuments recall the town’s heyday. Its beaches range from a broad, long town beach to picture-postcard coves close by.
