“Excellent Hotel”

We had a great experience during our stay at the Wingate in Lafayette, Louisiana. Everything was clean, the breakfast food was great. I will definitely stay there again. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Above and beyond service”

During our stay our cell phone stopped working. When we asked at the front desk directions to an AT&T store, the receptionist looked at our phone, removed the battery, blew into the phone and presto it worked. That is what I call a full service hotel

“Very nice hotel”

My wife and I used this hotel to spend the weekend as a little get-away...from life and the kids. We live 5 miles from the hotel. We never thought it would be as relaxing and nice as it was. We found that the price was perfect for the hotel. The rooms were great, beds comfortable, and the service was top notch. Best of all...they had sweet lemonade free in the lobby!! In addition, the location of the hotel provides quick and easy access to pretty much all of Lafayette and the surrounding areas. Definitely a great place to stay either as a local "vacation" (like we took) or an actual vacation for out-of-towners. We are already planning on going back on a regular basis.

Rooms are very clean. Bed were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was ready at 6am and very good. The staff is GREAT!!! Jasmine was very helpful and ready to see to our every need. The hotel was easy to find and in a good neighborhood. We loved our stay!!!!!

We loved staying at the Lafayette Wingate. Everything exceeded our expectations. You would think we were at a much more expensive hotel. Free internet, free hot breakfast and the evening reception were all nice perks. You can be certain we will stay here the next time we are in Lafayette.

I've stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times. First time when it was brand new. The property continues to be well cared for. Staff is professional. The rooms have all the amenities I want. Good work area. Comfortable furnishings. Highly recommended.

“Finally, a good AND affordable hotel in Lafayette for French music dancers”

Been going and staying in Lafayette for 10-plus years and have had bed bugs and dirty rooms in all the hotels where dancers usually stay. This one was great. Except for the need of soundproofing (I could hear everything going on and said in the next room's bathroom & hear their TV) as several reviewers have pointed out. Please encourace the hotel to get a laundry facility, as traveling with one bag now makes doing laundry always necessary. Not a good hotel if you need to be near Rt 10 to go east or west to dance, but good for Festivals Acadiens et Creoles or downtown. Loved the pseudo-classical Greek dark green interior of the room and the comfortable armchair with footstool.

“Great stay!”

This hotel is very clean and new. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was exceptional. I will stay here anytime I am in Layfayette. It is in a nice part of town and close to everything. I cannot stress enough how clean this place is. Highly recommend.
