“family fun memories”
We were arrived early but the front desk Mark was able to check us in at that time. He was very helpful and friendly. The staff that day were so accomadating. And the kids enjoyed very much the clean pool and the yummy breakfast served at the hotel for the guests.
“Great Value”
We had a big room with a separate sitting area, table & chairs, fridge & microwave. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean, but maybe not spotless. My kids loved the pool and hot tub which are located in an enclosed area. There was a hot breakfast buffet and, our favorite, the waffle maker. The staff was very nice and came to my aid when I couldn't find my keys at checkout time.
“great room”
Great room for the price. Pleasantly surprised. Plenty of room for the kids to move around. each space had a TV. Full hot breakfast was delicious! Pool was enclosed--no bugs!
“Good bargain”
The hotel was an excellent bargain for a budget chain hotel. In particular, the hot breakfast buffet was quite good, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and a hot waffle press, and free drinks at happy hour is pretty much unheard of at this price point. The hotel is not the Ritz, and there were some maintenance issues (spa not working, rips in the screens around the pool area) and understaffing (breakfast in particular did not have enough labor to keep up with demand), but it is pretty extraordinary that so much would be offered at this price point.

Great motel for the money - it's older but well maintained and a large suite with sofa , microwave and refrigerator. We were totally satisfied
“Nice day at the pool”
The hotel pool was great for the kids. Loved the breakfast.
“not completely clean”
The hotel has old stuff and isnt' completely clean. The elevator was quite dirty and the ice-machine very noisy. Not completely satisfied!
“Expected for the price”
We only needed a place to shower and sleep that was inexpensive and clean for the one night we spent there after a day of driving towards Houston. We were not surprised by the outdated quality of the hotel which we expected for the price but was pleased that the room was clean and smelled okay. The front desk person was unfriendly and acted as if we had disturbed him from something more important. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you also only need a place to rest your head for one night.
“Thorn among the roses”
We learned a valuable lesson about paying attention to these ratings. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff wonderful. Other than that it was a sad experience. The hot tub didn't work, the coffee pot didn't work, the screens near the pool were torn, the patio doors near the pool didn't lock, the carpet in the room was dirty and the room smelled horrible. The person at the front desk smoked right next to a sign that asked people to go at least 25 feet away from the building to smoke. That was the icing on the cake.
“Not impressed”
Although quite spacious, the hotel was quite dated, there were bugs in the bathroom, and the walls were paper thin. Being quite close to the pool, we could hear running, laughter and loud talking until the pool closed at then. In the mornings, the cleaning staff was unusually loud in the halls, even when asked to keep it down. We won't be returning.
