“Not too far from Quebec City and in the country”
The hotel was beautiful. While we went to Quebec to experience the old city, this was only 15 miles west of the city. Very quiet, relaxing (not that we spent much time there), in the country and on a lake. It is an all inclusive resort but we only did the hotel room so could not partake in the canoes, meals, etc without extra cost. If you stay there, go north - only 8 miles up the road is the national park and that was like being in Colorado! Gorgeous and easy hikes ........ (we didn't even wear sneakers). My only criticism of the hotel is that there is no complementary coffee other than one cup (with cremora) from the room's coffee maker. We did buy brunch there one morning ($13.50 pp) but were pleasantly surprised......food costs more in Quebec, regardless where you eat. And the bar served small drinks for the price......but small stuff. The room was huge - bathroom too, amenities really nice and very inexpensive. We'd definitely stay there again. It must be beautiful in the winter.
“Charming Hotel”
We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is charming while still offering the amenities of a full-service hotel - very friendly staff. Beautiful lake setting - plenty of outdoor activities such as mini-golf, shuffleboard, tennis, etc. Rooms are a not quite brand-new and gleaming, but certainly roomy, clean and comfortable. Also within easy reach of a beautiful parkto the north and Quebec City to the south. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
“Beautiful!”
We enjoyed our stay at this resort. Desk employees spoke English as well as French. Many and varied things to do. Beautiful setting and landscaping. Nice pool and spa.
“Amazing spot, awesome service”
We spent an amazing weekend at Lac Delage. The service was top notch. The room was beautiful. The hotel upgraded us to the Dorme room which is a sunken type of room with a cool little fort inside with an amazing view to the lake and the stars. We purchase the daily activities package which include access to tennis, rent cannoes, pedal boats, bykes, etc... The hot tub overlooking the lake is amazing. a great indoor pool. The hotel is located 20 minutes away from Quebec city, so we went there for dinner during evenings. Breakfast at the hotel was nice and at great price. It was truly very relaxing and romantic weekend at very affordable price.
“Gorgeous Setting-close to Quebec City”
Le Manior Du Lac Delage has an absolutely gorgeous setting looking onto the lake with wonderful gardens and leisure facilities. Very understandable there would be several weddings here each week. It was great to be able to walk across the road to book our whitewater rafting the day before our excursion. Having stayed 2 nights in two different rooms, the first night's room was far superior to the second room (even though they were both the lower priced rooms). The first room had lovely bedding with 3 sets of pillows (6 pillows) on each bed and a co-ordinating lap blanket at the foot of the bed. Excellent. Very nice bathroom and double lighted closets with white terry robes. Great room-hope the rest are updated to the same level. The "roman" pool area was wonderful. Great interior. The only thing I would fault the Hotel for would be the need for exterior paint.
“nous y retournerons sans hésitation”
Très beau cadre, chambre impécable, piscine, jacuzzi et sauna parfait, rien à redire
“I was glad to have found this hotel...”
The hotel was gorgeous, with a great view of the river, beautiful landscape, there was a wedding going on during our stay, it was THAT pretty! Service was really good except that the restaurant closes too early, 8:30pm, it stops taking customers in. Although the bar next door is still open till 9:30 pm, we didn't get a chance to dine at the dining room. Breakfast is good, not too many items but fresh and well cooked and presented. The rooms are comfy, with a hint of country feel, not too pricey but close enough to downtown Quebec and Quebec city (approx. 30 mins drive). But it will take some time locating the hotel on your first visit, neighborhood is nice and quiet. I'll definitely recommend this to any of my friends/ family members who would plan to stay for a few days in Quebec.
“A good choice!”
Beautiful hotel, clean and quiet. Beds are very comfortable with proper comforters instead of bed spreads. Plenty to do with miniture golfing, canoeing, kayaking and an indoor and outdoor pool. Beautiful location on the lake and only a few minutes from old Quebec. Only downfall was the restaurant was really expensive and there is no where close as an alternitive
“Very accommodating!”
I had a great experience. The hotel staff were super kind and very willing to accommodate my food allergies. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Thank you!
“A great environment”
A nice hotel with good service. The overall environment is pretty nice. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
