Our group of six travelers had a lovely stay overnight at this hotel. Courteous welcoming staff from the front desk to the bar and restaurant. Our supper meal was delicious, and the breakfast buffet was great; high quality and extensive selection.
The location was also nice, in the park and within a short walk of the old harbour.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Unfortunately, I don't have the names of the three young women who exhibited extraordinary
Service but I will describe it. The young woman managing check in - ran, in heels, from the courtyard to reception when she saw us enter the check in from the street. I have never seen
This outside of Japan. This was just the beginning. We arrived late and with a large car that needed to be parked in a very tight underground garage. The same women who checked us
In was instantly on the steep and tight down ramp guiding us every foot of the way. Amazing!
There was one spot left to park in. Instantly there were now three women, helping us. There were
Five bags between myself, my daughter and my wife, none light. They insisted on hand carrying all of them to our room and helping us situate them in the room. This is a relatvly small hotel but
The staff I encountered was world class.

Stayed for 4 nights. Comfortable, clean, everything you need. Kettle in room. Bathroom good. Situated around 20 mins. walk into centre but this was no problem for us for only 4 nights stay. Breakfast was extra which we only had on the first morning and then decided to walk into centre on the other days to try there. (Thought that it was a little expensive).
We enjoyed our stay in La Rochelle. Plenty of places to eat, though quite a few a bit 'touristy'.

Arrived very late as arranged and automated reception device worked as promised. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had dinner and breakfast, both of which were enjoyable. Tea and coffee in the room, clean room and bathroom. Good location for La Rochelle.
This port town on the Bay of Biscay is the starting point of a bridge connected to Ile de Re. The area dates back to the 10th century and is famous for having well-maintained heritage sites. The city is designed around “Vieux Port” (Old Harbour) which is home to seafood restaurants and boating areas. Visitors and locals alike take advantage of the warm temperatures for boat trips to surrounding islands.
