The staff was pretty amazing; very helpful, very friendly. They were knowledgeable about the trains & buses schedules & provided us with alternative options. We felt welcomed every time we get back to the hotel. Their kindness & hospitality are very much apprecited.

An excellent hotel for a medium stay. There are cooking facilities and refrigerator in the room, room to spread out, comfortable beds, laundry facilities downstairs, and very easy access to train, subway, bus services, restaurants and just about any other service you need.

Super close to Gojo station. A number of good places to eat just next to the hotel and a grocery store as well just down the street. We had a kitchenette in our room as well, which gave us more options for food. One of the best places we stayed during our trip.

Great location
The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Great location, you can walk to many tourist points or you can easily reach a train station or bus stop. You can also leave your luggage after check-out for the day without additional cost. Breakfast could be better.

Less than 3 minutes walk from the station's exit. A few nice 'chained' restaurants just within 5 min walk from hotel. You can grab a taxi from main shopping area downtown back to the hotel for less than 1500 yen to make life easy after a heavy day of shopping !

Place is right by the train station. Very easy to get luggage to. Recommend for travellers. Rooms are spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan. Highly recommend. I already miss staying here

It a big space and the staff were kind and helpful. It is close to the Gojo station. Pretty convenient when after a long day of exploring. The room service was amazing, had the option of having them come in every day and it was a great option to have. Only downfall is the washroom, thought it was small and claustrophobic .

The hotel is close to the main shopping area around shijo and karasuma, at a walking distance of 10 - 15 mins, or around 10 CAD if taking taxi. Subway station is close by, there's a Fresco supermarket close by where you can get everything you need, a pharmacy store is right next to the hotel, 7-11 opposite the street, and Mcdonals after a 2 mins walk. I love there's a mini kitchen in the room that makes it very convenient if you are too lazy to step out for food. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating.The laundry room is very useful as well. The hotel does not have any fancy facility like swimming pool or spa but I'm good with that since I never use those facility anyway. I rather enjoy the bigger room, kitchen and laundry in this hotel which does matter to me. I've been to Kyoto for 3 times now in the past 10 years and every time I stayed at this hotel with my young kids!

Love this hotel!
The place is really clean! Very comfortable! It is near the kyoto station and a temple. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I will recommend thos place to my friends!

This was an amazing experience! It had plenty of space, which wasn't the case witg my last Japanese hotel experience. It was a really great price for how many amenities were available and how big the rooms were. It has a grocery and convenience store minutes away by foot. Within walking distance of several attractions and plenty of shopping. But the best part is the staff, all speak English and are very pleasant. It felt like real hospitality, not a happy facade like many similar customer service industries. English friendly rooms too. Only downside: the breakfast was a little expensive compared to dinning options nearby. And there was possibility, if you believe in these things, our room might have been haunted. However nothing bad actually happened, just an odd feeling. But all superstitions aside it was the best stay a foreigners could have asked for in Kyoto! Stay at this hotel! We definitely would again!

Lovely area with a 7 11 right across the road. Accommodation was clean and fresh. Staff were helpful and approachable. Laundry facility in B1 and a smoking area outside. Housekeeping was quick and very efficient. Kyoto station is just down the road and you can get the direct train to/from the airport and the bullet train there too. Kyoto tower is by the station and there is tourist information desk. Great location for me and enjoyed my stay.

The staff was very welcoming and overall had a good experience. The property is a bit on the older side but we had a kitchen in the room which was cool. Overall a very convenient location and fairly priced.
