Spacious rooms with plenty of windows that allow for privacy but also lots of sunlight. Rooms are well air conditioned. Hotel buffet has yummy food with western and Japanese breakfast cuisine. Great locations from train stations but not in a super crowded area. Staff are friendly and helped me fill out the luggage delivery forms.

This hotel was fine other than the air situation. We would not have booked it had we known you have no control over the air in your room. We learned upon arriving that the heat and air is central for the hotel. They either have the air conditioning on or the heat on. We were there in December which meant heat, and it was like being on the surface of the sun. We were sweating just sitting in the room. The windows didn’t open, so we were trapped in our little oven. If you are a hot-natured person, like us, probably best not to stay here. The location is great. The hotel was very clean. The room was a good size. But it was so warm in the room we were uncomfortable for the two nights we stayed.

Pros: Hotel was quiet and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Staff was efficient, courteous and helpful. Room was clean and a larger than most other Japanese hotel rooms. Loved the slippers and PJs provided. Cons: Room lacked storage. Subway station was several walking blocks away.

The room was very dirty, a lot of dust. All furniture was covered with dust. I am very disappointed. I selected this hotel because it get high voting score in this website. One more thing, for anyone would like to select this hotel, you please check it carefully before make a reservation. For examples, if you need to stay 3-4 persons in one room, you have to not believe in the website photo and advertisement. For my case, I booked a room which was advertised that this room is for max. 4 people. But when my family came there (2 adults and 1 14-year-old child ), I have to pay additional for 1 person (18,xxx JPY). The staff said because my child have age over 12 year old, it will count as an adult. I don't mind to pay additional, but it should be clear in the advertisement that the room is for 2 adults and 2 children who has age under 12 year old, max.4 person. Really fake and dirty hotel.

Really great location and very well maintained. Hotel is a bit older than hotels that we stayed at in other cities, but was very comfortable, had the nicest bed and the air conditioning stays on even when you take your card. This was my favourite hotel that we stayed in over our two week trip (out of four).

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Noted that is our anniversary, they helped to upgrade our room. Cleanliness of the hotel is great. During night time, it is bit noisy as crowd gather below and talk loudly.

If there was a rating higher than excellent, then the staff at this hotel deserve it. Nothing was ever too much. They were all exceedingly helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent with regards to shopping, eating and very easy access to popular public transport routes for sightseeing. This was our fourth time staying here, and we will gladly return again.

Super Comfy & Near Lots of Fun Stuff
Had a great time! Room was super comfy and within walking distance of the gorgeous kabuki theatre, geisha district, trains to Arashyama Bamboo Grove and Fushimi Inari Shrine, and lots of fantastic places to eat. No complaints at all!

The room is a bit small. Merely hard to fit in large luggage. Overall the experience for staying in this hotel is great. Hotel location is just nice surrounding with shopping district and walking distance to bus stop is just less than 5 minutes

Overall good stay at this hotel. About 5 mins walk to the nearest bus station and about 8 mins walk to the nearest train station. The hotel is very well located, near to Terramachi Shopping Arcade. A lot of eateries nearby within walking distance. The room is clean, however there are some wear on the furniture in the room. All all other hotels I've stayed in Japan, great amenities provided. I will recommend my friends and family to stay at this hotel.
