Very near Kyoto stationPosted 14-Oct-2013
Pros: Location, clean room and wifi.
Cons: I think the bed is too hard, I know is a cultural preference but for me it was really difficult to sleep.
Location: Near Kyoto station (train, bus and shinkansen); supermarkets, AEON shopping mall
I stayed 5 days in this hotel and would come back another time for sure. The room was small but I really don't mind because I don't stay long in the room, just to sleep and shower. The bed was a little hard for my taste but everything else is really good and very clean. The best thing about this hotel is how near it is from the kyoto station; as a tourist who wants to visit places using the bus and train, it was just perfect. Also, it is very near from a huge shopping mall that has a great deal of restaurants. Free wifi in the room and excellent shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

Near Kyoto StationPosted 29-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
This was a good hotel. Nothing special and it's very close to Kyoto Station--which is good if you need to catch bullet train to somewhere. Not much else around.

Convenient location.Posted 27-Aug-2013
Pros: Clean and convenient location to city bus and train station. The staff was polite and helpful.
Cons: The bathtub and the air conditioning. The bathtub was too high. Internet needed improvement, at least give more than one cable.
Location: City bus, subway & railway station are nearby. Just few minutes to city centre.
The accommodation was more like a motel for Mt. Fuji, as if the only purpose was to help the guest survive. The air conditioning system was stuck in a constant temperature so I had to sleep in pure heat. The internet, was adequate, but seriously, a cable? The only source of wifi was the lobby. However the internet was decent and no disconnection was found. Not recommended for more than 1 guest, considering the packed space, but a cheap price does not go so far does it?

Convienent with a Rooftop SpaPosted 14-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Upside: Walking distance from train station and all public transport. Nice quiet front entrance. Great Japanese breakfast. Clean rooms. Free rooftop spa. Downside: Great value and location, but the rooms are small and outdated except for the 11th floor. That said, I would definitely stay again.

Cons: Hotel was old
Location: Close to Kyoto station
Close to the Kyoto station and convinient. Not the best hotel but will do if your there to sight see and use the hotel as just a place to sleep.

Good hotel room at a reasonable pricePosted 17-Jun-2013
Location: The hotel was near the station, which had its advantages and disadvantages. It's good for business travelers, but it's far from sightseeing sites.
I was happy with the hotel. The room was small, but the price was reasonable, and it was clean and well-kept. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location, room not so greatPosted 21-Apr-2013 on Hotels.com
We were here for one night due to a last mintue change to our plans so we weren't spoilt for choice. If you like rock hard beds, this is the right place for you (we spent more comforable nights in Ryokens with no beds!). That said however, the service at the hotel was great, the staff were very attentive and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was quite small, but this is the norm in Japan. Don't get this hotel confused with the AHA closer to the station, although this is still close to the station (10 mins walk). There is a public bath in the hotel but we did not use the facilities. Rooms also have wifi which is a nice plus.

Good hotelPosted 9-Apr-2013
Cons: The bed and probably the lack of restaurants in the area
Location: Close to Kyoto station
Couple blocks from Kyoto station but located in an obscure street - had a nice little shrine next to it which I found pretty cool. Not many place to eat around the area so we just went to Kyoto station and ate in the Isetan mall which offers a good variety. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, the rooms small but clean. The only complaint I had was that the bed was rock hard, the previous APA hotel I stayed in, the bed was too soft, woke up sore during both stays at APA hotels but overall not a bad stay.
