“New and fresh”
Pretty neat hotel with friendly staff, they had some problems with breakfast.
“Great hotel!”
We were very pleased with this hotel and the location. It's close to Austin and the shopping outlets in San Marcos. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again!
“Worth the extra few travel minutes to get to”
My overall opinion was, not bad for what I paid...the travelling was a bit more than I liked and the construction delays at the time I was there was frustrating...but once these issue are gone I would gladly use this hotel and location again for my visits. The room was clean and fresh, the staff was very pleasant no matter what time I walked in and the breakfast served was what was expected, fresh and satisfying.
“Impressed”
The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and I was very impressed overall. The A/C was wonderful and it would get really cold. The road construction was aggravating, but I would definitely stay here again!
“very clean, very nice staff, room design and decor very nice”
highly recommend if you need to stay just outside of Austin, San Marcos or New Braunfels. We were impressed with the rooms, modern design and clean.
“5 Star Hotel”
I was very pleased with my choice of LaQuinta! Our room was spacious with high ceilings. It was as nice as some of the more expensive hotels where I have stayed. If ever I am in the area, I will definitely choose to stay at this LaQuinta!

“Pleasant one-day business stay”
This was just a short-term stay of one night for a business meeting, but the hotel met all my needs and offered me a pleasant stay. My only reservation was that it was a bit confusing to get to, off the Interstate, as Google maps wasn't aware that the access road had been changed to one-way at exit 217 on the east side of the highway, heading south from Austin. It actually is required to go to the next exit and do a U-turn heading back north. La Quinta would do well by offering a back entrance off the road that goes east from the Interstate.
“good enough”
This hotel appears to be relatively new and is nicely maintained. It is small and not luxurious, and some of the finishings in the rooms were not done very well. The location is a little remote - you can't easily walk to eateries or shopping, but the Kyle area seems to be undergoing a lot of construction right now, and maybe in the future there will be more things nearby. If you have a car, then no problem. The staff was friendly and we had no real complaints (except that the tv in our room was mounted in weird location, where you couldn't ues the remote when you were in bed b/c it was at a terrible angle). The free breakfast is suitable - pretty much what you'd expect (waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereals).
“Room for improvement, but not bad”
Honestly, the hotel isn't bad at all. It is exactly what we needed for the trip. Room was very clean and serviced every day. We were put in a room close to the registration desk and front door which was very convenient, but the staff would come and go from the office door in the hall and let the door slam all night long every time they went through the door. Hello, people are sleeping!!We needed to do a little laundry while we were there and the washer was not working. Close enough to Schlitterbahn and the outlets without paying a higher price for a room we only slept in.
