Very rude people who work here. Room was small and had use keycard to get through multiple doors to get to area to get to the rooms. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay here again. Much better hotels in the area. This is probably the worse one. Again the rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with.

Every member of the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel was perfectly located within the very heart of historic Toruń. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and fairly priced. I recommend without hesitation.

The location of the property was great, close to all amenities. The staff was lovely. The property did not have a lift. We had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor, which wasn’t great. The room did not have air conditioning, making it impossible to sleep.

Zdjęcia nie oddają rzeczywistości - pokój był ciemny (okno na podwórko), brakowało klimatyzacji i przy temperaturze na zewnątrz 20 stopni C. w środku było duszno. Za oknem słychać było dźwięki jakiś urządzeń, co przeszkadzało spać. Śniadania bardzo podstawowe (niemal w ogóle nie było warzyw) i monotonne. Jedynie lokalizacja jest ok oraz personel był przyjemny. Biorąc pod uwagę całość, to zdecydowanie nie warto.

Stayed at Carna Roza for 11 days. Even though the view was not spectacular, from my particular room, the room itself was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the customer service impeccable!! The staff were all extremely courteous, attentive, and accommodating. Convenient location. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a a quality stay in Torun

Excellent Toruń Hotel
Hotel Czarna Rosa was a great experience from start to finish, as I received an extremely warm welcome and they even held my luggage for me after checkout while I walked around the town. The only slight negative is that there is no parking, which means using the rather expensive secured lots under the bridge.

Very nice hotel right in the middle of the city but on a quiet street. I had the room with the enclosed balcony looking at the old castle wall, towers, and part of the Vistula river. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and there is tea in the room. The included breakfast was good! We had a variety of fresh baked breads, cheese, tomato, ham, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Coffee was perfect. The best part about it was the friendly and helpful staff. The Ginger Bread museum is right next door so be ready for the great smells of fresh baked bread in the morning when you walk outside. The hotel also has an entry way on the back next to the castle walls so you can exit and enter the hotel without going through the mail lobby. I really liked this feature. I will stay again.

Staff were ftiendly and hotel kept clean. The old part of the building is not disabled friendly as spiral type stairs to negotiate to go up and with cases is not easy. A new part is being built with lift so wait to see wgat that part ia like. We will be goong back there in a few months.

Wonderful stay
Great value and the staff was wonderful. Good breakfast with a large selection and they offered to make eggs for us as well. We had one of the newer rooms with AC so that was great. The area is a little too loud to rely on open windows so it really helped keep us comfortable. I also loved the location. Close to everything, especially the gingerbread museum which makes for a pleasant aroma in the morning. Parking is just down the hill and reasonably priced.

another fake advertisement on Hotels.com. i had approached this hotel as reserved upfront. while registration i was asked to fill a long form of details to which i refused to. there's is no parking , although in the ad it is said that it's avai;able. the room proposed to me was on the 3rd floor, without any elevator/ lift or just a proposal to help us to climb up, this room. i have rejeceted this reservation to look another location to stay there. such inconvenience.... another proof & evidence of fake advertisements of this site.

Lovely hotel
The hotel was clean, and the staff were great. The location is perfect—right in Stare Miasto, so it’s convenient for getting to the restaurants, shops, and Wisla river festivities. The only issue we had was that there is no AC in the hotel, and our room (or rather the only window in our room) faced the courtyard, so we had no breeze/airflow. This wasn’t an issue during the day while we were out and about but it was uncomfortable for sleeping.

Just beside GingerBread Museum
If you arrive by train and take a bus from the station to the town of Torun, the hotel is quite a distance away from it. It took us roughly 15mins to get here. If you are carrying heavy or numberous luggage, do take note that there is no lift in the hotel. The condition of the hotel is great for one night stay, however the attitude of the staff could be better. As we booked a taxi with the reception, we were waiting in the reception for the taxi arrival. The reception didn't even let us know that the driver had arrived and when i seek help in translation english to the driver, she gave me a irritated face.

Nice weekend trip with family
Very velcomed staff, good selection of breakfast, clean room, located just next to main Torun monuments. Lobby area very friedly for child. All hotel and rooms kept in Gothic style which is making even more unique.

The good: Hotel with character. Perfect location near all the sights, and right next to the gingerbread museum. Wifi was reliable. Complimentary breakfast was good with decent selection of cold items. Short/Inexpensive taxi ride to main train station. The bad: the noise and the temperature. The floors creaked badly and the noise made infinitely worse by someone running/jumping in the room above mine. The temperature was also kept much cooler than I felt comfortable with and there was no way to change it.

Central for everything
A spacious room in what seemed to be a very old but modernised building. Hot water, clean room and linen, reasonable breakfast. The location in the historic core meant that you could walk to most places, although it was a short bus ride to the main railway station. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee, milk or tea bags to accompany it. Perhaps you had to get them from reception - I didn't stay long enough to find out. The staff were excellent and I would stay again.

Only stayed the 1 night, very welcoming and informative staff. The bed in our room we want to take with us, such a perfect nights sleep. The shower with instant hot water and excellent water pressure. The continental breakfast exactly the right mix, and really pleasant coffee. There is a courtyard where we enjoyed our breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

Best little hotel in Torun
We booked this hotel for 2 nights initially and extended our stay by another 2 because our plans changed. The staff are lovely and helpful and speak great English. The hotel is clean and historic with nice modern upgrades. There was no AC in our room but there was a large fan and if you leave the window open a nice breeze keeps things an an acceptable level. If you have mobility issues ask for a room in the back half of the hotel which has an elevator. There was a breakfast buffet included and the food was ample and delicious. The staff and cleaning staff did a great job keeping our room stocked. The room included a mini fridge with waters as well as a kettle with tea and teacups. The bed was comfy and the sheets were very comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town and is easily accessible by cab or car. There are also laundry facilities on site. I would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it.

Wonderful room and nice staff
The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is a small elevator that serves the newly-remodeled part of the hotel. Those rooms overlook the town wall and Vistula river, which makes them very nice. The new rooms are wonderful in the cool months but in the summer probably not because of ventilation issues. Even with the balcony door and balcony windows open the room was stuffy until nightfall (in May). The room was very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was filling and not over-the-top, as it can be when these are add-ons to the room in other hotels. Torun is a beautiful town and this hotel is in a great location, next to a gingerbread museum. Parking is off-site and just a five minute walk to the hotel. I ended up paying the parking attendant (30 zl/day) and the hotel gave me cash back since there was some confusion about the payment for the parking.
