Hotel was sold to us as a 'luxury 5 star resort'. What we found was a very old, barely 2 star motel. Property was old, poorly maintained and the outdoor pool that was advertised was non existant. Food quality at breakfast was poor, and the staff are happy to come into your room despite a do not disturb sign. No safety box nor fridge in the room. Leaking faucet with wet floors in the bath, unusable tub. Total joke!

Nice place to rest and relax
the stay was comfortable as the rooms are decent sized and suitably furnished. the facilities provided by the resort are more than adequate.The washroom amenities are very good.

Staff/service and food were excellent. Very spacious rooms. However refurbishment meant lots of noise above my room until midnight! However, when I contacted Reception the next day they immediately moved me to a very quiet room and thereafter stay was excellent.

lovely property with serene surroundings. the room did not have a fridge which is unusual but i am sure if i asked it would have been available.

What I like: 1) beautiful hotel 2) quiet location 3) pretty close to town 4) quite clean 5) comfortable What I hate: 1) check in took too long 2) staff doesn’t seems to know what they’re doing 3) messy organization 4) booked a car to take me to the airport, staff gave me a car plate number. On the day that they were supposed to take me to the airport, they changed the driver and car without informing me. Asked the staff about it and it seems no one knows about it and concierge is not even around to do something about it! Rude and irresponsible! 5) transportation is too expensive if organized by the hotel. Better off taking Grab. If you are looking for a nice place to stay without needing people to serve and attend to your needs, this hotel is perfect. The hotel might be nice but their customer service leaves much to be desired. Throughout my stay, I didnt bother depending on them for transport and service because they are slow, inefficient and disorganized. You’re better off taking Grab as a means of transportation and just do whatever you can yourself, then you’ll have a pleasant stay. Staff cannot be depended on for good service.

If you booked this hotel at a discounted rate, it will meet your expectation. The hotel is surviving although some of the areas need refurbishment badly. Better walk-in with no or less expectations, then you will enjoy your stay :)

Just average. Not 5 star anymore for me.
Not so good. My toilet was stuck, water didnt go to the drain. Furniture were old style. Tv cable was not good & no many channel. Tv sound was burst. Pillow were too hard like rock. Check in was taking so long. But the environment was nice, have many spot to hang out for having coffee & small talk, front door staff was friendly, breakfirst was nice & many choice. Hope the hotel management will follow upgrade their room & furniture.

Initially they gave us a really bad room. Dirty carpet. With stains, bottle water was opened, the bed was really old mattress infact can feel the spring! We complained and waited for e an hour to get another room after I said I don't want to. Spend my 10th year of anniversary with this bad service & horrible room. And that was at 5pm.Only then they gave us suite which was at 6pm! However, it was a pleasent stay afterwards.
