RUN
I stayed at Lacomme Inn. The hotel is listed as a 3 star, but it should be a half star or no stars. It is a dump. The first night, they gave me a filthy room with a leaky sink and dirty sheets. I had them changed the sheets and in the morning they changed my room. When I returned to the hotel, the hotel had no power. It was 1230 am and I had to sit around until after 2 am with no power. I asked to speak to the manager so he could book me a room some where else and the staff would not let me speak to the manager. They were also rude. One person told me to stop complaining because I only have one more night at the hotel. Then later that afternoon when I returned to the hotel, while taking a nap, the power in my room went off. only in my room because the breaker was tripped. Early morning the next day at about 5 am, I was sitting outside the hotel and a huge rat come near the table I am sitting at with friends. 10 minutes later, my friend looks up and the rat is in the open hold in the ceiling on the wires (which would explain why the power kept going out). This hotel is not a 3 star. It offer 0 amenities for a 3 star and it is very un-kept and filthy . Also, the room they changed me to, the toilet leaked when I flushed it. I am so disappointed and grossed out and couldn't go to sleep because I was traumatized by the whole rat experience. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

This Hotel
- staff was good and with the many pitfalls of this hotel, although I had one unpleasant encounter. The staff member with the blonde highlights blamed me for not having the room cleaned for two day because I didn’t tel them. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I’ve never had to tell them to clean the room, if I do it’s not a problem but don’t blame me for not letting me know that. -staff helped when WiFi wasn’t working and hot water didn’t work and put me in a better room. -Free breakfast for all the problems for a day was good. Every time I complained of cleanliness, which was my main issue with this hotel, they always helped Speaking of cleanliness, this was my main issue. Although everything about the hotel was average for a hotel of this time ammenity wise, this hotel certainly wasn’t kept like the others I’ve stayed. This hotel should come up with a clean up card that hits all the areas. Drawer was initially dirty with god knows what in it. Mr Potato bag left behind drawer that drew bugs ( don’t really blame) Also I had to renew card every day, which is fine but after climbing 3 floors of stairs realizing he key didn’t work and going to tell them. I thought it was coincidence, but not until the third go did I know that it was a procedure. Recommend coming up with some 100 point procedure that includes cleaning behind furniture and dusting to get the cleanliness of the rooms because I could write more but there’s not enough time. For the price range it was ok.

I understand the term "you get what you pay for", but I did NOT expect it to be as bad as it was. The neighborhood is horrible, the building and buildings surrounding it are disgusting. We were going to leave and go somewhere else but we were exhausted and couldn't fathom having to carry our luggage back down 4 flights of stairs after a long day of walking. The breakfast included is a voucher for the restaurant across the street, which was also horrible. on top of how old and nasty the neighborhood was, it felt extremely unsafe, especially as a female. NEVER AGAIN.

So so
The hotel was exactly as expected for the price. Positives- - Good location in Bukit Bintang close to tourist street/Low Yat/Monorail - Breakfast was very nice - Clean rooms Negatives- - We had laundry done and it was not ready at the times indicated - No elevator (stairs are fairly steep) - Room requires card to have power cant use something in the shape of a card (this makes the fridge pretty much useless as it turns off when you leave) -The room curtains are very thin and let a lot of outside light in Overall not bad for the price

comfy budget hotel but room had ants
Located close to Bukit Bintang, the room had a dresser, two tables, chairs, and bedside table so there was lots of places to sit and hang out. The beds were really comfortable but we found a few ants crawling on one. Not sure where they came from, but other than that the room was very clean.

pay more and get better
The hotel was ok. Nothing special, but for £90 for 3 nights i shouldn't complain. Worst thing was the noise from talking in reception was very loud, especially at 2am!! Apart from that room was in decent location, short walk from monorail station, room was clean and tv and shower worked perfectly.

Budget hotel/guest house
You get what you pay for. A small noisy hotel in a good location in the Golden Triangle with reasonable access to transport and mono-rail. Lots of local eat-places and we walked to the Twin-towers. The free tourist Go-Bus has stops nearby. There is a purple and green line which go different routes. The buses are purple so look for the sign as to whether it's the green line or purple. It's a hop-on hop-off bus. The so called breakfast is very basic. The taxi at Sentral had never heard of it and it's in a small street. Tell the taxi it's behind the Istana and Park Royal hotels. They are biggies.

Good location but issues come with it
The Hotel is barely a block away from KL's 'party central' of Bukit Bintang and only 15 minutes walk to the Petronas Towers and our primary reason for stopping on our way to Thailand. We were staying just under 24hrs so we wanted a budget hotel close to both these things. The hotel definitely suited these requirements but that is pretty much where the good news ends. The hotel is a bit tricky to find as on a tiny side-street though this was not a big issue. I had read that the rooms were small so we booked a queen plus single bed 'family' room and found that the room was then adequate size for two. Not for 3! I would hate to see a 'double' room!?! The small combined toilet/bathroom was clean and things worked but some bed linen was stained. Issue 1: Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator! Ok, the staff did bring our bags up so this isn't too major if you're not coming in and out a lot. Issue 2: There are noisy party people and noisy cars cruising up & down the street all night (i.e. until 3-4am) and we were there on a Wednesday. So you're going to be joining the all-night festivities whether you like it or not so you'd best stay out late and sleep like a log (or bring your ear plugs!?) or you will get little sleep here! Our room was at the front of the building, but I doubt even the rear rooms would be spared? Issue 3 (the biggie!): The double bed mattress was terrible with springs nearly coming through and made for the worst night sleep!

Hotel is just 'okay'.
Good value, but the hotel is right at the end of the airport runway! Also, the hotel location lists it as being very close and within a very short walking distance to the 'Night Market.' This is untrue...it is a 15 minute taxi ride to the Night Market...and definitely not walkable unless you want to walk for a couple of hours... :(

Good stay in Kuala Lumpur
The staff were very nice and helpful and let me store my bag after checkout as I had a late night flight. Good advice on directions and attractions. The doors to the rooms cannot shut quietly and despite my asking twice my fridge never worked. Also seems everything depends on having your key in the slot when you enter the room so even if you wanted to keep things cold and you are out in the daytime the fridge will go off with everything else. Area a little run-down but very convenient for the monorail and popular eating streets and shopping.

Budget hotel with prefect location. 10 min walking form Pavillion shopping mall, and 20 min walking to city centre. The free tourist bus is 2 min from the hotel. Staff is friendly. As expected the rooms and bathroom was small. The biggest issue was the bed, it was very uncomfortable. We moved to a hotel close by, it was cheaper, cleaner and had comfortable beds.

I stayed in a single room with a window but the window is kinda useless really cause the window is facing the main walkway/ hallway so you can't really use it. The room smells funny. Overall cleanliness is ok. There are many food stalls and pubs around the hotel.

Poor service for the price. Extremely noisy place and hotel staff, cockroach in the room. I had a terrible night there. They offered a car to pick us up from the airport Lcct, at almost 3 times the price you will pay if you hire a taxi at the airport. Location is great and I will stay again in this area but definitely not in this hotel.

Nice but very basic hotel. Good for a night or two. My room had a window but it looked out into the hallway. The lights from the hallway were a little too bright so I needed my eye mask for sleeping. Room was tiny so glad I didn't have a suitcase. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient short walk to Bukit Bintang. Overall, a good stay for the price!

La Comme Inn - a wonderful stay
The reception staff were always courteous and friendly. Sometimes the language barrier popped up, but regardless, staff were always aiming to please whether it be taking our luggage to our rooms on discussing directions to local sights. The location is fantastic - a 300m walk to Jalan Alor and Bukit Bintang, not to mention you are right amongst the curry houses of Jalan Nagasari. Across the street is a 24 hr convenience store. The room was clean, had WiFi, aircon, a barfridge, TV, private toilet/shower and windows. For the price I paid (around 120 MYR for a twin share) it was unbeatable value!

Great location; decent hotel for the price paid
This hotel is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but as a budget hotel it is good value for money. The breakfast (toast, tea/coffee and sausage) was simple, but set you up well for the day. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the Petronas Towers and very near the hawker food stalls on Jln Alor, and in a party area. Lots of bars, pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, if you have a front facing room, this can mean it's quite loud. The bedroom door is also quite thin, so you can hear what's going on outside your room. The bathroom is a wet room i.e. no separate shower, but the shower is very good. All in all, we had a good stay and the staff was very friendly.

Cheap and Clean in Central Kuala Lumpur.
Cheap clean hotels in the "Golden Triangle" area of Kuala Lumur are hard to find, this small hotel fits the bill. I have stayed here a few times, the rooms are small but it's clean and safe, with good air conditioning, flat screen TV's with a good choice of channels and free wi-fi.

Room was smaller than we expected, though clean and comfy . Toilet waould get flooded after a shower, due to flat flooring. Power would trip after each exit from room. Reception staff courteous. Room service good but forced to use bed as dining table. Neigbourhood noisy on one night till late. Just 5 mins walk from Bukit Bintang was the saving grace. Overall , just abt average.

The picture of this hotel is so decisive. Do not go with the pictures of this hotel. The rooms are very small. The Bathroom is always wet and the water never dried up. You cannot open the Window of the room as a result you are going to feel you are in a cave. The price is cheaper and the staffs of the hotel are very friendly. Other than that nothing is impressive. There are also noise sorrounding your room and you can't do anything about it.

Located RIGHT in the middle of town, very pleasant stay. Room was cosy (on the small side) but clean and in very clean. Getting to this hotel is very easy, as it is very close to Raja Chulan and Bukit Bintang Monorail stations. Service was top notch, arrived late for booking in but had no hassle whatsoever, staff helpful and friendly. Would strongly recommend this for anyone that wants to sample KL nightlife as it is very close to bars, clubs etc. Will stay there next time i go to KL.

LaComme Inn - KL
The LaComme Inn is situated very close to the monorail system which made travel very easy. It is also close to many shopping areas and tourist attractions. The rooms themselves are very small, particularly the bathroom with the shower above the toilet! Almost perfect
We wanted an inexpensive hotel with private twin room in the Golden Triangle area of KL and this hotel delivered. The room was clean and had a street view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Once there we arranged a 10pm check out for the very reasonable cost of half a nights stay which was great as we had a 2am flight. Breakfast was the malaysian style chicken sausage (no pork in these parts) with toast and ommlete served direct to our room when we asked which was very good. The sweet coffee was typically malaysian. There were only a few minor issues making this a 4 rather than a 5. No lift to first floor so bag lugging required. Bathroom is wet room concept which made the toilet very wet indeed as this is next to the shower. There is a 1 inch step on the landing tiled to the same colour as the floor which we didn't fail to trip over every time we went to our room. On the plus side the location was perfect right on the edge of the bars and restaurant areas but not so close that it was noisy and rowdy. A very decent curry house right across the street. Not too far from Raja Chulan Monorail stop so easy to get to from KL Sentral. And the price was exceptionally low. Would definately stay again.
