Simply the BEST. So far this property is the best one I ever stayed in Europe. Very clean, elegant and luxurious. Hotel staffs were great. You can get millions of pictures in this hotel. It is like you are a time traveller. As for breakfast, it was unbelievably great. There were all the options you can name it. Everything was very fresh and top notch quality. This is the one of the best hotel in Frankfurt. I will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely stunning. They have a partnership with a massage company and they came to our room for a couples massage. Super professional and kind. Food downstairs was great and the castle is incredible!

The hotel is well decorated, staff very attentive and resolutive. Rooms are good size. Big bathroom with bathtub and shower. Bed and pillows comfortables. We have an issue with the air conditioning that did not work and the days have been very hot outside so was difficult to sleep at night. We 2 only 2 night but the problem wasn’t resolved. We had dinner at the main restaurant and was delicious and well served. Overall it’s a beautiful place to spend a couple of days far away from the noisy city.

Such an amazing property. Had the most wonderful time. Staff was phenomenal, grounds are beautiful, our room was huge and comfortable. Vegan options were difficult to find but they were happy to accomodate. The hotel itself is a treasure and a joy to walk around / investigate. Highly recommended.

The grounds are very well tended and a pleasure to access various walks, gardens. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms very charming. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The dining was casual (we ate in the bar area since the restaurant was closed on Tuesday) and fit our needs perfectly.

Very disorganized overall and frankly disappointing. The entire castle was booked for a wedding and another entire event - however, none of this was communicated when we reserved the room. As a result, they only had one tiny terrace that could fit a max of 25-30 people for the entire castle guests. This was a surprise "gift" discovered at check-in when we booked the room 4 MONTHS in advance. No communication whatsoever to guests of the hotel beforehand that probably would have chosen another hotel to avoid the drama and lack of services. The entire day was filled with miscommunication between oh no the terrace is closed, actually it is open, the bar is closed, no it's open, actually it's definitely closed... but you have the lobby, though. Guests were confused and waiting for menus for 30 min with no communication from anyone. Some kept asking for a table to eat their food. Strangers sat together in the same seating because there was no room anywhere... They had all their staff focus on the wedding and event and only had one waitress on the terrace for everyone else. So basically, paying hotel guests were left wandering, confused, stuck, and overall with subpar service for a 5-star. Overall, we've been to many 5 star hotels, and this was definitely the worst experience we've had. You will be paying almost $400 a night for NO. No restaurant, no bar, no full hotel access, no communication, no pretzel at 7:15 pm, no coffee in room, no turn down service, and no library.

I love castle hotels and at Schlosshotel Kronberg I felt like in heaven. The place is full of history, filled with marvellous antiques and gorgeous decorative items and the park with the rose garden are a delight. Breakfast is served in one of their beautiful dining rooms and it was very good.

We started our day 1 trip in this hotel, it was a pleasant stay. Should’ve stayed more days to explore the rose garden and do the hiking. The room is beautiful and big, with the atmosphere of castle, this price is worth to experience staying in a castle. We had dinner at bar and breakfast at the restaurant. Great food and service. The reception is nice and professional. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely go back again!

A stunning location...
This is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. From arrival to departure and everything in between, we were treated very well and dining options were excellent. The rooms are perhaps a little dated, however that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The grounds are stunning - make sure you take a long walk and see things like the rose garden.

this is a most visit if you are around the area . I was a bit nervous about driving time to the Int Frankfurt Airport but took me 25 min and was easy drive to the car rental return.Staff is very friendly and well educated they speak several languages .

Oh my! This was by far the best time my son (7years) and I had in Germany. Staying at this castle will live on in our memories forever. There is so much history to this place that any of the staff can tell you about. The staff were amazing and treated us like royals. So many halls and stairs to explore and corners to read books. We read some Harry Potter and felt like we were at Hogwarts waiting for our dark arts lesson to begin.

Schlosshotel Kronberg is a fantastic property for anyone interested in staying in both a 5-star location, as well as a literal castle. The staff is always welcoming and courteous. The food options, including delicious pancakes at breakfast, will be certain to wow. Lastly, if you visit in December, there may be an on-site Christmas market - a true delight!

It was a lovely. Staying in a historic castle was a genuinely unique experience. The front desk staff was excellent. We loved the main drawing room with the fireplace where you could have drinks, however seating was limited and we were only able to get a seat once in 3 days on our last evening. The other bar/ lounge called Jimmy’s had very limited hours and was being utilized the day we arrived for a private function. Breakfast was very expensive and so we ate out each morning. We had dinner the first evening in the main dining room and the service was exemplary but the prices are ridiculously expensive and portions very tiny. I think it would be nice if they could offer an alternative dining option. We did find a couple of good restaurants in nearby towns.

The Staff were wonderful. The ladies at the reception did beyond their duty. The waitting staff at the lobby food service were excellent. The downside of my 3 night trip was restaurant was closed all three nights . Sunday had a pre booked bbq. Monday and Tuesday's the restaurant is closed so i found the food choice was limited. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee service in the rooms. Lastly my room was beautiful but the bathroom was outdated and needed repair as my licked.
