It was a nice appartment with good facilities.
We enjoyed our stay in this appartment. Overall it was a very nice apartment witthin easy reach of the City Centre.

Disappointing quality appartmemt
The apartment is very well located and 2 mins away from the main square. It was clean and all amenities needed eg towels extra bedding & kitchen equipment were provided. However there were a few things that let the appartnent down. The fixtures and fittings were poor, the kitchen drawer broke when it was first pulled out and the tap in the bathroom was broken from the start. There was no shower curtain or screen so it was hard to shower without soaking the bathroom. Finally check out was 11am and the reception refused to allow us to store our bags until our 8pm flight even though the la gioia welcome book said there was storage available. I would not stay in these apartments again.

Great location, accommodation fine
The accommodation was 10 minute walk from the main square so this was great. The accommodation itself was modern and funky although a little dark. Wifi was free and worked well. There was a reception but some staff struggled with English and some but not all were a bit slow and miserable. There was no cleaning of the apartment done whilst I was there which surprised me a bit. However all in all an enjoyable stay.

Great Experience
The lofts are located in the central part of Cracow and are a 10 min walk from the central square or 5 mins from Wawel castle. The room was chicly furnished, well designed and comfortable. We were able to get all the groceries we needed down the street near the river. There was 24 hr security and 24 hr access to the bldg. Parking is also available and the cost is 50ztl/day -- about $18 -- less than the city parking garage.

The owner forgot about our prepaid reservation and had to scramble to find a space at 10 pm at night. At first he offered a studio in an old building 5 floor walk up, a little dirty. We complained that this was some sort of bait and switch and then he arranged for another accommodation 3 blks away where we carried the suitcases down the stairs and rolled them past sleeping drunks. The apt and building was better.. there was at least an elevator to get the bags upstairs. We did not have a garden view as advertised so the apt was very noisy from traffic all night long. Since they are private apts there is no concierge or someone even waiting for you to arrive..there are no extra sheets or coverlets for the bed...no shampoo or extras with the rooms. No checking or cleanup between nights for a 4 night stay. I really question whether this should be counted as 5 star experience

A little small
We booked La Gioia hotel for our 2 night stay in Krakow. Apartment was OK but a little small (without separate rooms). The rooms wasn't cleaned the next morning. The locations of the hotel is very convenient (app 10 min walking distance to the main square) and there's free wifi and parking garage (app 12 EUR / night).

perfect stay
We were picked up from the airport by a shuttle arranged by the apt. We were shocked at what a good value the loft was. It was perfect for our family of 4. There were 3 beds. It was in a very central location yet it was quiet and relaxing. The free wifi worked perfectly. I can't think of a reason not to stay!

Fantastic rooms + late check out option
We booked in three rooms and were lucky enough to have them all linked where we could easliy spend time together. Each room was decorated differently which was fantastic and refreshing. The biggest plus for us was that the staff offered a late check out for the day we were leaving which was very convenient considering the snow outside. Fantastic stay - definately recommended

Amazing design and very comfortable. A few minutes from Wawel Castle, it was so peaceful. Great place.

The loft apartment seemed more like an apartment sublet than a traditional hotel. This loft was difficult for us to find. We did not see the name (La Giola) located anywhere on the outside of the building which has the appearance of an office building (which says something like "Angel Plaza" on the outside door). Upon arrival, we rang the buzzer of the apparent office complex and the person at the desk rang the La Giola contact who came over. There was a locked dark small hallway for the room. There was little explanation of the features of the room and no phone provided in the room for questions or outside calls. The contact person did reply when we emailed that we could not operate the A/C. It took us a long time to figure out how to work the TV so be sure to get instructions before the contact person leaves. I also suggest getting instructions on how the heating/AC works while the person is there. There was no daily cleaning service or towel replacement. We found there were insufficient supplies for keeping the kitchen area clean (e.g., no broom - no kitchen towels, but a roll of paper towels). The sofabed was the 4th bed and we do not recommend the comfort of it. There was noise through the walls from the room next door. The loft includes cement walls. The bath is tiny and there are no towel racks supplied for hanging the towels.

Svårt att sova.
Det här var utan jämförelse det sämsta hotellet på vår 10-dagars resa i Polen.Toalett/ dusch var väldigt litet men rummet var ganska stort. Sovdelen låg en halvtrappa upp med en takhöjd där vi inte kunde stå rakt.Sängen var mycket dålig Trappan var trasig så den knakade ordentligt varför man vaknade om partner skulle gå på toa under natten.Vi valde hotellet för att de hade parkering, vilket också fungerade bra. Damen i receptionen var också väldigt hjälpsam och gjorde så gott hon kunde. Läget var också bra.

Prima locatie. Design inrichting zal niet iedereen aanspreken. Design heeft voorrang gekregen boven functionaliteit. M'n in de badkamer: geen goed functionerende douche en wastafel. Ook trapleuning is geen overbodige luxe. Verder is ruimte voor een gezin met grotere kinderen beperkt.

Lägenhetshotell med bra läge
Nära flygplatsen, stadens torg och restauranger. Personalen vi hade kontakt med var väldigt hjälpsamma men tyvärr var det svårt att göra sig förstådd med personen som satt i fastighetens reception. Av hotellets personal fick vi jättebra hjälp med t ex att boka taxi till och från flygplatsen.

料金不相応で写真と全然違うホテルアパートメント
掲載されたホテルアパートメントとは全く違う。フロントらしきところはあるが客向け対応はほぼしません。客室のカギを渡されるまで到着から1時間強。インターネットは滞在中ほぼ使えず。追加ゲスト料金を徴収しているにもかかわらずベットメイキングはされておらず自分たちでやらなければならない。ティッシュペーパーすらなくアメニティはもちろんありません。バスタオルは髪の毛が付着していていたり汚れている感じがして清潔感は全くない。エアコンはリビングのみ使えベットルームのエアコンは故障している。チェックインの時間は書いてあるのにチェックアウトの時間は記載なくレイトチェックアウトしたら別途料金がかかると書いてある。怖いので早めにチェックアウトしました。掲載している外観写真は別の建物。内装の写真の中に我々が宿泊した室内の写真は一枚もありません。正しいのは外観と客室以外の写真。

Sehr toller Aufenthalt in Krakau
Wir schliefen 2 Nächte lang im LaGioia in Krakau und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und auch schön eingerichtet. Einzig ein Bett war ein wenig klein (resp. Schlafsofa) welches für zwei Personen gedacht war. Ich würde diese Hotel aber weiterempfehlen und auch wieder da hin gehen.

Despite of arraving hassle (not ready-made beds), which was corrected soonest after call to apartment owner, excellent choice. Plenty of room, quiet, perfect location, proberly working air-conditioning (especially important due to unexceptionally hot weather) , suitable gym.

Tälläinen asuntotyyppinen hotelli oli meidän molempien mieleen.Ystävällinen henkilökunta aulassa 24h,roskien lajittelu järjestetty kuin malliksi meille suomalaisille.Hulppea sisääntuloaula vaikka ei sitä heti kadulta huomaisikaan. Yhteinen terassi naapurihuoneiston kanssa ei oikein mieleinen. Huonekorkeus jotain 5m joten parvellakin mahtui hyvin kulkemaan.

Lage der Apartments ist sehr gut; Apartments sind von der Hofseite und daher durch Verkehr nicht beeinträchtigt. Leider sind die Wände sehr dünn; man hört Gespräche und alle Geräusche aus den benachbarten Apartments; die Lärmbelastung ist so groß, dass wir in der Nacht durch (lustige) Nachbarn aufgeweckt wurden. Auf des Fassade des Hauses gibt es leider keine Information (kein Schild) es ist daher etwas vewirrend.

Dejligt sted. Rent og pænt. Tæt på centrum. Vi var 5 kvinder på tøsetur og havde bestilt en lejlighed til 5 Pers. Der var så kun 4 senge og det var meget svært at få dem til at forstå at vi måtte have en ekstra seng. Vi endte med at få en madras. Ellers var alt som det skulle være.

Hybelen i seg selv er veldig bra, og ser ganske fresh ut. Dette er egentlig en leilighet som er delt i tre, og det er ekstremt lytt mellom rommene. Riktignok var franskmennene ved siden av lite "hjemme", men vekket oss lett når de kom fra byen i 5:30-draget. En annen ubehaglighet var at naboenes nøkkel passet til vår dør. Vi ble ganske overrasket på begge siden av dørstokken da vi oppdaget dette.

Vi var veldig fornøyd med standarden og at det var rimelig og sentralt. Det var litt lydt mellom leilighetene. De i resepsjonen kunne ikke engelsk, men når vi på søndagen ringte å spurte om å ha rommet til klokken 18:00 var det ikke noe problem og uten tillegg i prisen. Absolutt å anbefale!

Ved første syn, ser studiolejligheden flot ud. Men når man ser nærmere efter er der ikke noget luksus over Ikea interiøret. Bla er sengen en gammeldags fjedermadras, hvor fjedrene flere steder kan mærkes! Der er kun håndhold bruser, ingen steder at hænge den!!!!!! Toiletsædet går ustandseligt fra hinanden. Det ene rullegardin var allerede ved ankomst defekt, blev "fixet" 2 gange, men endte med at falde helt ned. DEr var ingen brugsanvisning til hverken tv eller DVD-afspiller. Ejeren blev tilkaldt og brugte selv en rum til for at få det til at fungerer. TV består mest af østeuropæiske, arabiske og religiøse kanaler. Dem er der til gengæld ikke sparet på. Klimaanlægget mangler også brugsvejledning og ejeren kunne ikke hjælpe med dette. Der er tre studiolejligheder og der er meget lydt, kan sågar høre naboen gå på trapper og følge alle samtaler. Vi havde bestilt en studiolejlighed på 40 m2, efter vores vurdering var den langt fra så stor. Vi fik gjort rent 2 gange på 12 dage, hvilket egentlig var ok. Men det skal påpeges, at man da må forvente, at en lejlighed i den prisklasse og kategori ikke er så fuld af gammel støv overalt. Beliggenheden er dog fantastisk. man er i gå afstand til alt.

Privat lejlighed med fin beliggenhed
Make a phonecall before arrival as this is not an ordinary hotel but actually a building of private flats of which this one is for rent. As we were delayed at the airport, we arrived an hour later that agreed on the phone. The receptionists were not there, and we couldn't enter the building. Another man/owner of a flat told us that this was NOT a hotel. And as there were no signs at all, we bacame a little worried. The man unlocked the door, and the receptionists showed up. They didn't speak English at all but called the owner who told us to get a key from the receptionists. By ourselves we found the flat which looked fine and clean. The only problem was the toilet seat that kept falling of AND the fact that we could hear everything said and done in the two flats next to us. I wouldn't describe the furnitere as great designs, but just as plain Scandinavian Ikea style. We stayed two parents and two teenagers (16 and 18) in the flat which was okay as we were out sightseeing all four days. But ofcourse it was not private at all. The flat is perfectly situated close to the old town, the jewish part, the river, etc. About 20 minutes walk from the main station. Besides we felt privileged to be able to use the spacious and new fittness center, jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath all by ourselves every until midnight every night. As it was a private flat, we didn't have clean towels or cleaning during our 5 days stay.
