Helpful staff, good location, excellent breakfast. The WiFi in the room hardly worked because the signal is weak. The plumbing problems in the shower cubicle were the most annoying.

Hotel service very friendly and nice, however no facilities to make a tea or coffee in the room, no fridge in the room, TV rather old not working properly. Breakfast included in the price which is very good but unfortunately very poor choice of food for the price paid.

The air-con works pretty well. This hotel is one of the few still using true bath soap rather than shower gel, which is amazing! The breakfast is very good. The location is central and you can walk to almost all Krakow attractions from there.

This is a mid-sized 'family' run restaurant close to the centre of Krakow and the Kazimierz district. The rooms are perhaps getting a little dated but are clean and more than adequate. The breakfast was substantial and continental (no bacon) but was varied and tasty. The staff were accommodating and friendly. My brother needed an accessible room, and was given one that really was large and accessible!!

Expect the condition for being the old building it is, but I had a nice stay. The receptionist checked me in very early and recommended places to visit. I love Poland.

When we got there we were told to get back in to taxi and that we were going somewhere else and that the guy on reception will tell us what was happening. It turned out that a group who had booked through a tour group were staying an extra day so we had to go somewhere else as they had no room for us so the start of our stay was not the best. However, when we got there we could not fault the room, was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location. The breakfast was very nice and had plenty selection for us. We would stay there again despite the bad start.

Hotel is in a good location, can walk to old town and castle and jewish quarter. We walked almost everywhere. There is a lot to see in Krakow and l think we managed to see it all. WE has some lovely food in the surrounding restaurants. Only had breakfast at the hotel. Good job they had eggs and a toaster or l would have starved...... \there was no atmosphere in the hotel at all........ I would recommend Krakow as a city break but not at this hotel.

Secesja Hotel is small, friendly, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The decor is quietly stylish, art nouveau. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, efficiently booking our day trips, calling taxis, providing directions and giving good general advice. Breakfast was buffet style, with a good choice of tasty, hot and cold food available and staff kept the buffet table well-stocked.

Good hotel in a special location
Good breakfast which includes Polish delicacies. A nice touch is the free tea/coffee in the bar in the afternoon. Friendly and helpful staff. Location in Kasimierz has a lot of historical interest and is not overrun by tourists. We would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel well located
Located close to the so-called Jewish sector an area that is now very vibrant and bohemian with lots of cafes and attractively priced restaurants. Full of students and not too many tourists we loved the area. 10 minute walk to the main market and tourist areas made it an excellent location. Hotel was very good value for money, clean with breakfast and all the facilities you would expect. Free tea or coffee in the bar area was a great plus.

Very pleasant hotel in Kazimierz
The hotel is located in the heart of Kazimierz, the old (and now fashionable) Jewish quarter of Kraków, very near the Wawel castle and only a short walk from the Old Town. Facilities are very good, the decor is tasteful in the Art Nouveau style (for which Kraków is famous), the place is perfect for the short family stay or a tourist visit, although not what one would call luxurious, which is reflected in the price. What makes the deal is the friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, location and a pretty good breakfast. The street is quiet, the front windows of the hotel face the side of the Pauline Fathers' church. There is free WiFi in the quite spacious room, the bathroom is very clean and quite well equipped, the Expedia price was good. We will certainly consider this hotel for our next trip.

Wonderful staff at the front desk and cleaning
The folks at the front desk were incredible. Anytime you wanted a cup of tea or coffee, they hurried to the bar and instant service. Answered all of our questions and made suggestions. Absolutely no complaints. Location near old town and trams. Three tram stops away from main train station. Great restaurants half a block away. Will definitely stay here again.

Good value for such hotel.
I had a single room in a quite location. A little small but enough for one. Wi-fi was working in the room. It was great to have chanel on tV in English. Location was ok and close to tram but with 25-20 minutes walking distance to the old city centre. I would reccomend this hotel to others.

Hotel located near all city attractions and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was recently refurbished and very comfortable, the bathroom was lmmaculate and everything was cleaned every day. Would recommend this hotel and will visit again

Great value for an excellent hotel
Had never been to Krakow before so wasn't sure what to expect with regard to the quality of the hotel but we were extremely happy with our choice. Location was great as it was only a 25 minute walk into the centre but we ate and drank local to the hotel as there was plenty choice of good restaurants and pubs. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Even managed to check-in early as our room was ready - we were only going to ask to leave our cases there. When we go back, the Secesja will definitely be our first choice.

Nice hotel within ten minutes walk to Rynek Glowny
Breakfast on second day, only one coffee cup left (about 9am) and no staff to ask for another. My wife had yogurt but was surprised to find it was mouldy. We told receptionist who apologised, but wanted her to be aware of the remaining yogurts for other guests, as the yogurt was not out of date but may have been left out at room temperature. The room was supposed to be a double, but was in fact a twin room with beds head to toe, so we moved them around each day to form a double. Wifi was free, but signal was so weak it was unusable. The most alarming was the last evening when returning to the room, my wifes bag was opened and left open. There was nothing of value in there, but it left a bitter taste.

Christmas break in Krackow
My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and we had a fantastic break. The hotel is within walking distance of all city centre tourist spots (Christmas Market, Shopping centre, Castle and tram stop to Schilinders Factory). The staff were friendly and very approachable and helpful when asked about attractions and prounciation of Polish words. The breakfast buffet was very good each morning, serving scrambled and boiled egg/sausage/yougurts/breads/cereals. On our last day however we went down for breakfast at 9 and due to large numbers having breakfast some of teh food was gone and was not replaced. The rooms were clean and tidied every day and they were so warm especially after walking about the Christmas markets. All in all we had a fantastic break, staying at this hotel made it a hassle and painfree trip. Def would recommend.

Very good hotel, considering it was pretty cheap. Room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Nice and quiet with a good location - about a 10 min walk to the Wawel castle. Buffet breakfast was included and was fine (usually cereals, yoghurts, bread, cold meats and cheese, scrambled egg and sausage) though Sunday morning was very busy and some things had run out by the time we got there at 9am. Only minor complaint was that our room was far too hot and the thermostat in our room didn't seem to do much. However since it was freezing outside, we didn't mind too much!

Hotel Secesja in Kazimierz district was a comfy choice off the more beaten track of Rynek Glowny. Service was top-notch, location allowed ready ambulatory exploration to all points of interest within minutes, and all amenities (except laundry--arriving on a drizzly evening with all clothing wet, incl in baggage, was a poser as there was not much to do but drape everything around the room; a few extra hangers would be a help) were quite handy. The room (on 6th floor, lift only goes to 5th) was fine although cramped--difficult to find anywhere convenient to set things down; esp the loo which had no where to put bath supplies while showering, and a sink so small the splash from turning on tap wet the front of my clothing nearly every time. Breakfast for a vegetarian turned out to be bread--of many delicious sorts, but bread nonethe less. Reception staff were excellent, gracius and helpful.

Good hotel, excellent price-quality proportion
Two perfect nights of sleep. Considering the price I paid I wasn't expecting too much, which allowed for a positive surprise. The hotel is located in a silent place (ul. Paulinska is not a main street) so we could sleep with the window open without waking up of the noise. The beds are good (mattrasses were good, that's unfortunately quite often not the case in Poland!) and the breakfast was also good - not too little, not too much. Just a good meal to start the day. If you're looking for Hilton-standard, then do not go to Hotel Secesja. However, if you're looking for a good night of sleep without committing a terrorist attack on your wallet, then Hotel Secesja is surely worth trying.

This was my second stay here and it was just as amazing as the first. The breakfast is filling and the rooms are clean. A good location walking distance to everything. Not a negative thing to say!

Quiet hotel with Polish Charm
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 days for our daughter's graduation. She selected the hotel for it's location and price. It is not a standard chain and we enjoyed the charm with a great price. The full free breakfast was a great addition! We highly recommend it!

"Ideal for the historian in you"
The Hotel Secesja is a small but charming hotel ,ideally situated for those wishing to explore the fascinating history of Krackow and visit important local and regional (Auschwitz) WW2 historical sites. It is very clean, serves an excellent breakfast, and offers good value for money The staff (particularly reception) are knowledgeable, courteous and go 'out of their way' to be helpful. Visits, tours and excursions can be arranged directly from the hotel. The city centre with its marvellous castle,cathedral and old town is just a 10mins. walk away. The nearby fascinating old Jewish quarter is even less. You are not looking at the all too common ultra modern consumerist city here but one that has retained its own sense of history, culture and religion and yet justifiably recognises its sometimes tragic past yet nonetheless is welcoming and vibrant. A great trip!

Alt i alt var vi rigtig godt tilfredse. Bortset fra sidste dag. Der var morgenmad fra 7.00 til 10.00. Vi var nede kl. 8.30. Der var hverken æg, ost, juice eller kaffe og der kom heller ikke noget i den halve time vi sad der. Men bortset fra det var alt i orden og et meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale
