“I'll be definitely back...”
the hotel and the beach are like a dream. it starts when you arrive from this quite tiring boat trip and they offer you a cold wet towel and a pina colada while the check in is being processed. the bungalows are extremely comfortable and make you feel at home when you enter them. the hotel staff is extremely helpful and serve you with a smile on their faces all the time. you don't have to worry about a thing because they always remind you of the tour trips you've booked, your arrangements to leave the hotel, etc. you just have to relax and enjoy yout vacation time...
“best honeymoon hotel”
we were at phiphi village for honeymoon...all the things was great...very chill out place, nice ambiente, better sea&sand, perfect coctails, extremly better foods..
“Great place to stay”
Awesome pleace to stay with great range of facilites. Will definitely stay here again
“Simply Amazing”
A fantastic resort in an amazing location - food, facilities and staff were all excellent. Stay here if you want a proper Phi Phi holiday away from the nasty commercial tourism that has infected Tonsai Bay, you won't regret it.
“Steve and Angies view on Village Resort and Spa”
The Village Resort and Spa is definitely a tropical paradise. The choice of swimming in the huge pool or crystal clear ocean was a nice change. Definately 100% better than the nearby Tonsai area and a must for someone who just wants to relax and take things easy. The staff were terrific and the entertainment at the restaurants was first class.
“Excellent resort in a lovely setting”
We stayed here for a few nights in March 2012. We used the resort boat for transfers to and from Phi Phi island. Although on the pricey side, the service was perfect and we would highly recommend it since the ferry did not look to be that much cheaper. The resort is set in an amazing location and is very secluded. Each room was it's own bungalow which had plenty of space and was quite comfortable. It's a great place to just be away and relax. The resort staff were very accommodating and friendly every time we had to deal with them. The pool and beach were great, as were the bars at both. We did a snorkelling boat trip through the resort which was very good, we liked our guide and went to some nice spots around Phi Phi island. The resort was quite pricey,; the food, activities and everything else were not cheap. However, considering the location and service it was not too bad. We would recommend this place to anyone who had a bit of money and wants to get away and just relax in a beautiful setting.
“Hotel in Paradise”
Great hotel in paradise. The beach is superb and the hotel beautiful
“The Wow Factor!”
Wow! This was our reaction to the Phi Phi Island Resort as we caught our first glimpse of the huts lined along the beach amidst coconut palms, arriving in a long tail boat from Ton Sai Wharf. The resort is very tastefully designed with substantial gardens. Minute attention to detail in both the decor of the hotel and the comfort of guests. There were not only three restaurants in the resort but a lane at the rear of the resort, where locals had set up competing businesses in food, restaurants, and excursions. These businesses were extremely professional and very good value for money. They also appeared to function as an extension to services provided by the hotel, in times of high demand. Guests are housed in private bamboo structures, each one enjoying total privacy and a picturesque outlook. The Marlin Restaurant and the Coconut Bar & Grill are situated in front of the beach looking out to the sea where there is also live entertainment in the evening. Whilst the latter two restaurants offer Western and European meals the third is dedicated to Thai food. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly and appear to love their jobs. We opted for an excursion of both islands by boat on one day and filled up the the other days with kayaking and walking trails of which there are several. If we had not booked a fixed price air fare, we would have added at least another day to our holiday.
“le calme”
Hôtel très accueillant, et disposant d'un bon service (service de liaison entre l'hôtel et le port, avec possibilité de garder las bagages). La restauration est bonne, mais le petit déj est simple. La piscine est super. La chambre est charmante. Une très bonne adresse pour séjourner à phi phi island en amoureux.
“Overpriced and Under Delivered - worst value for money ever”
MUCH better to stay in Phuket and go diving / snorkeling for a day trip to Phi Phi islands....you have to take a trip anyway to get to the snorkeling sites If you insist on staying over at the Phi Phi islands, select a cheaper hotel.....I will be very surprised if it is worse value for money The hotel is on an exclusive area of the island...that could be good, but in practice it meant that you had to buy whatever food and services they were selling, at whatever prices they chose to sell it at. In contrast - we stayed at fantastic hotels in Phuket (The Surin) and in Siem Reap - Cambodia (Heritage Suites)
