The 1st baby crib is included in the price, but there is a charge of upto THB200 for the 2nd. Use of the wireless Internet connection in the rooms, lobby and pool area is included in the price. “Not happy”

When we checked in to the Aonang Ayodhaya Resort & Spa we were told that the "Superior room in the Success wing" was in the next building. The building is in fact a 2.5 star hotel next door...Success Beach Resort. I did complain to the manager about this and advised that as a travel agent I will never be recommending clients to that hotel if this is the case. I can't complain about the price but if I think getting a great deal in a 4.5 star hotel, I want a 4.5 star hotel, not a run down 2.5 star. Although the room was quite pleasant to the eye the rest of this "wing" was absolutely appalling. The outside of both hotels is in major need of re-furb particularly the pool areas. The furniture on either side is very old and outdated.

“Not a 5 Star Resort... Stay away or pay 2Star rate.”

This is definitively NOT a 5 Star property: Old car tires filled with cement serve as umbrella poles around the pool, the gym has only 5 machines (yes, five!) in an semi-open no a/c building , no internet in the rooms, Gala Diner for Dec 31st served on the parking lot with view of the adjacent motorbike and car parking, breakfast buffet of a 2star hotel at best (no fresh juices, industrial pastries as served in the cheapest establishements, inexpereinced staff and so on and so forth. And they still charge per each use of their tiny sauna or towels you take to the beach!! ! When you pay top dollars a night, there is a feeling of being ripped-off.....Stay away!
