“lovely garden and room”
We had the deluxe garden room. It was on the second floor so had to walk a bit but lovely view from our window of the garden area which is well maintained. The beach, pool and restaurant are all very close. Staff was very friendly. There are areas for children to play and a wading pool. All very clean. They provided us with very nice usable sizes of shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and even had a large tub with bath crystals available. The bedroom part is the only air conditioned part of the room but the nice thingis you can get showered and dressed and not bother your spouse.
“Already planning our next visit...”
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Peace Resort. When researching this property, I could not find many reviews online, and I think it's probably because no one wants to let the secret out. If you're going to Koh Samui and want a fabulous experience, stay at Peace Resort. The room was beautiful, the grounds were beautiful, the staff was helpful...and I'm going to stop there, because I want to be able to get a beachfront bungalow next time I go!

“Lovely quiet hotel on the beach”
A good hotel, right on the beach. Fantastic view for breakfast and delicious cocktails. The chief barman is very talented. The reception staff are very helpful and are able to book taxis/ transfers/ excursions etc. The beach sand is not as soft as Chaweng, but still lovely to swim.
“Private and Relaxing”
This hotel is ideally located right on the beach in Bhoput. It is about a 10 minute walk along the beach to Fishermans village. Fishermans village has lots of restaurants and bars and i would personally recommend 'Starfish & Coffee'. We went there 2 nights in a row as the food and surroundings were so great. The hotel accomodation was lovely, a nice private villa style house with large bed, tv, fridge and large ensuite bathroom. There was a small veranda area with seating to sit on which was lovely to sit and have a drink before going out for dinner. The breakfast was excellent and was served in the main restaurant right on the beach. It has a large selection of fruits, pastries, salads and meats as well as the normal cooked breakfast items. We has a wonderful time in Koh Samui and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“A lovely place to stay”
A great place to stay. We stayed in a Seaview Deluxe Bungalow and had great views of the ocean. I would recommend getting a Beach Bungalow or Deluxe Seaview Bungalow, not the Garden Bungalows because Garden were quite small very close to each other. Beach and Seaview had plenty of room. Rooms were cleaned every day and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good, though bacon not the best. We only ate at the Restaurant on one night, there are plenty of Restaurants along the beach or the best one was just outside the entrance to the right. We wanted to eat at night at their tables down on the beach and was told we didn't have to book and when we decided to have a meal on the beach we were told we had to book!! Not happy about that. All in all a great holiday and spot to stay. Only a short walk to Fishermans Wharf, markets held of a Friday night around 5.00p.m. onwards.
“Well worth a visit”
All in all a wonderful holiday. Unfortunately although the dry season we had 4 days of rain but this didnt spoil the holiday. Be aware when you go on safari trips - animals are chained and probably drugged which was very distressing, they also dont have our concept of health and safety. Food was fantastic - you could eat for as little as £8 per couple or as much as £50 per couple. Definately worth trying the food from the little stalls and beach ladies. The Thai people are lovely and cant do enough for you. Would definately go back.
“Indeed peaceful”
Peace Resort definitely lived up to its name. The private bungalow style of all the rooms along with the beautifully landscaped forest made for a peaceful retreat. In each room you're provided with house shoes, sandals for outdoors, a beach bag, and beach towels to be used during your stay. Given my off season visit the hotel did not seem to be at capacity, leaving plenty of chairs at the pool. The breakfast that came with the Expedia rate was fabulous. It included hot and cold American entrees along with two Thai dishes. I also visited the spa owned by the hotel and really enjoyed the experience (so much so I went twice). The staff is very attentive, and consistent bungalow theme gave each service villas tons of privacy. Prices are much higher that the $10 beach massages, but it was worth the value to me. This is a hotel I would stay in again, but if you're looking for something ultra modern with all the bells and whistles you may want to look elsewhere.
“No Hot Water!!!!”
One week with no hot water - and nobody could/would do any thing about it.
