“Wonderful place to stay”

Haad Tien offers a surperbe setting between the beach and the surrounding coconut grove. The bungalows sit wide apart leaving you ample privacy enjoing the view of the sea and the palm trees sitting on your personal patio. The restaurant offers a good selection of thai and BBQ to choose from and service is perfect and quick.

“Haadtien @ Koh Tao”

Overall our stay at Haadtien was enjoyable. Our bungalow was private and secluded, clean, and had great lighting. The staff on the resort were helpful and did everything in their power to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A few things to note - 1) The wireless internet was really spotty and unreliable in our bungalow, 2) the food on the resort is overpriced and not good (even the thai dishes were bad), 3) the water pressure was really low and hot water was inconsistent at times.

“beautiful location”

The resort is in a beatiful location if you are looking for peace and serenity, as it is located in a bay 10 mins away from the nearest town (free shuttle provided by the hotel). Do not book any of the sea balcony view rooms as they look over construction works, we booked one of them but negotiated an upgrade to one of their hideaway villa (worth the extra money). The bay is great for snorkeling but the sea is not good for swimming as it is too shallow. The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff very agreeable and accomodating.
