Staying at The Cumberland allowed us to be able to walk not only the campus but also easily walk to restaurants. Very “boutique”/unique decor that had history to Knoxville’s textile industry from years past. Loved our stay- the balcony room was great:)

Hotel was nice enough, but get ready to add 35 bucks per day for valet parking, which is the only parking available. Front of the hotel sometimes turns into a clusterf**k.

The Cumberland House was beautiful. It was so clean, quiet, so thoughtfully and historically decorated. It was just stunning. My husband is a designer and he really enjoyed the thoughtfulness behind the aesthetics. We tried the signature drink, which was delicious. Paula helped us check in and she was just the friendliest and most helpful, adorable person. We loved our room on the top floor. We slept well and enjoyed all the amenities. We could easily walk to dinner downtown and the theater and back. The World's Fair Park is right by the hotel and the river and park and everything around it was wonderful and so easy to access. 10/10 will stay there again next time we are in Knoxville!

All parking is Valet only. We were charged $20 every time we parked and an additional $35 for overnight parking. Over $100 just for parking! There are no parking lots nearby to park in. In the past we stayed and paid $20 for parking for our whole stay of 4 nights.

Hello Justin. We only charge 35 nightly for parking, we do not charge for coming and going. More than one night of parking was added to your reservation erroneously but that has been fixed. I went ahead and sent you a copy of your receipt through email.

We couldn’t be more pleased. Extremely friendly attentive service as soon as we pulled in, entering we were greeted and it really feels and looks like a high end high priced Hotel. Lots of detail went into there building. After check we were text to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Gorgeous room and again lots of detail. I highly recommend and will def stay here again when we return to Knoxsville. I will not even look for another place to stay. Top notch!!!!

Very modern feel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, clean facility. Parking was the only downside, but luckily we were able to park at a demoed building's lot next door.

I became ill during my stay at the Cumberland House. I was up most of the night/morning . I requested a late check out, which I was granted. They went as far as to extend it longer until I was able to get myself together. Ana and Paula was pleasant and considerate to my plights. The management showed compassion during my misfortune. The front desk was fast and efficient changing out a malfunctioning mini fridge. Maintenance went above and beyond for me. Which FYI I was a Basic Hilton Honors .

Avoid Valet Fees
Hotel location, cleanliness and staff are wonderful however watch out for the daily valet charges. Park on the street to save $35/day in valet fee.
