That 70's feel

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: Close to shopping and eateries
Cons: Spend some money to renovate and don't just depend on the "trades people"for revenue.
Location: Good location and great proximity to 401
This hotel is in need of some serious renovations. Carpets dirty and worn. No blanket on the bed, only a thin comforter and I would hazard a guess as to when that was last cleaned. I prefer a bath, but went to my daughter's house to use the tub. Need I say more?

Comfortable hotel in a good location

It is an all around good hotel and in a good location for our time we were there. Will use this hotel in the future when we need a place to stay.

Short sta Very old hotel. Renovations in progress.

No complaints. Sorry I did not get a renovated room. Towels very abrasive. I have experienced old hotels better maintained. I am sure it would be very nice when renovations are completed. Great breakfasts.

OK for short stay

Posted 13-Jan-2015
This survey is complicated to fill out. The hotel was OK. The heater was broken & we had a space heater and it worked fine. For some reason the power on the one wall went out. There was the heater, fridge coffee maker, lamp, TV & another lamp plugged into the same wall. The guest in the next room had the power go out on their side of the wall. After the breaker was reset we had no more problem. The garbage was not empied after the first night. We were satisfied with the room but it is a older hotel and the walls are thin.

Disappointing

Posted 11-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
The room has been redecorated and very comfortable but not well maintained. The TV did not work well, WiFi sporadic and caulking black or missing in bathroom as well as ceiling stained from water leaks. The breakfast was good, but I waited a half hour to speak to the front desk attendant at 9 am. and left without ever seeing her/him.

Great location near shopping, restaurants, and 401

We had a great stay and recommended it to 5 other couples who booked rooms and enjoyed a great evening in Cambridge.

Location is great.

When I checked in the message was flashing on the telephone and no one knew I was there. I couldn't get the flashing to stop. I tried to call out and the phone wouldn't work. When I came back later, the only pop machine was out of order, there was no ice, the restaurant adjoining was closed. I'll find another hotel the next time I go to Cambridge.

Would not recommend!

Cons: Housekeeping/cleanliness definitely not a strength
Bathroom was dirty...ring around toilet bowl. Cheerios on floor next to bed...
