Pour le prix, on avait l'équivalent d'un appartement condo : chambre, salon séparé, petite cuisine. Le déjeuner inclus était très correct et la piscine intérieure était bien.

The receptionist upon our arrival was smug and was not guest friendly. Maybe the color of my skin or that my credit card didnt worked on the first swipe (but it worked upon re-try). She never made any eye contact with me while I was checking in. She placed the room key card on the table for me to pick up instead of handing it while all the time looking down the desk and walked away. I figure she may just really need to go to the toilet. When you have to go - you have to go.

Booked hotel through Expedia because they had a breakfast and a pool (we have two kids). Our youngest who is 3 was excited about going swimming. When we got there, we were informed the pool was closed. On the hotel website, they indicated that the pool was closed but no where in the booking tbrough Expedia did it indicate that the pool was closed. Thanks Expedia - was extremely disappointed. Another recent experience through Expedia has me thinking I will use a different service next time around.

I do appreciate how the pool being closed can affect a guest's stay, which is why we have been doing everything we can possibly do to ensure guests are aware ahead of time, in case it is a deal breaker and want to cancel to stay elsewhere. The pool has been out of order for several months now as we are waiting on parts to be built to fix the issue. I do apologize about the elevators having some issues. The Homewood Brand is an extended stay brand and being an all-suites hotel, having the option to cook in your suite, there isn't a need to have a full-service restaurant onsite, and we do have some wonderful options of restaurants right next door to us. We do offer a great breakfast 7 days a week and do an evening social on Wednesdays evenings with light snacks. Booked this property to get the kids out and take them to use the pool. Upon arrival, the pool was out of service which means i wasted my money and travelled 200km for nothing. I would have booked something else had they properly advertised.

Nice staff, but we were disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. We had to wait after the 3pm check in for our room to be cleaned (which got sorted nicely with staff) but then when we went up to the room, we found really smelly food in the microwave... Then a 6:30am fire alarm went off so we had to get out of the building (not hotels fault. Pretty sure a kid tripped the fire alarm as there were a lot of kids screaming and yelling and throwing balls in the halls when we arrived, so it wasnt a very peaceful excursion...) We stayed for two days and no-one came to refill things in our room or take linens or towels When we went to the breakfast, we had to track down someone for more plates as there wasnt any when we got there, and when they did bring plates out, they brought four which got snatched up quick and then other people had to wait and ask for plates.... and no coffee which someone also had to ask for. Not going to be recommending this one unfortunately....

I'm very sorry to hear that you had some cleanliness issues with your suite and that you had to wait to check in along with having a bunch of roudy kids welcome you up on your floor (not the best start to your stay unfortunately). Having a fire alarm go off, is never something we wish to have happen during anyone's stay, let alone early enough in the morning when most guests are still sleeping but grateful it was a false alarm. Housekeeping service has changed since the pandemic. Currently the Homewood Brand standard is every 4th night unless otherwise requested by the guest and that will soon be changing to every other day, unless a hotel decides to opt in for the return of daily cleaning as of October 1st. I do apologize about the breakfast service over the weekend. We unfortunately faced a staffing issue Sunday morning, and the breakfast attendants that day, were filling in, and not typically over there, so they were trying the best they can given the circumstances. Having the fire alarm go off before the breakfast started, did set things back a bit and weren't prepared for guests to grab breakfast when they were allowed back in the building. I do hope you would be willing to give us another chance to prove that what you experienced, isn't typical of our hotel.

I am hoping you could clarify your comment for me though about the No Manner at u sign in and out? Are you referring to our front desk check in and check out or something else? I do apologize about the issue you faced with the AC. Our HVAC unit is a "smart" unit where if it doesn't detect motion every so many minutes, it will stop running as it's energy efficient. We are in the process of completing paperwork to have what Hilton called "connecting rooms". This is where you can control the TV, lights, and thermostat all from the palm of your hand through the Hilton honors App- so once this is completed, you will have more control over the temperature of the suite. I'm sorry that the pillows weren't too your comfort level- just like a mattress, a pillow is such a personal choice between a softer or firmer pillow or down versus feather. We do hope you would be willing to stay with us again and give us another chance should your travels bring you back to our area.

The staff at the hotel were polite and helpful. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The room was clean with the exception of the desk and desk chair which had something sticky on the seat. Overall our stay was good and convenient for our family trip to African Lion Safari.
